So, I'm ordering some gloves online and they ask me to measure from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm. My hand size is just under 6.5". According to their size chart, I need an XS?!!?!!! I think my hand size is pretty normal. Idk if I should trust their size chart. lol

What is your hand measurement in inches? Anyone care to share?

Is sounds like you should upsize one size and you'd prolly be ok?

They're 100% cotton gloves to help guard against dry/chapped skin. My plan is to wear them overnight with a probiotic moisturizing (probably tallow-based) hand cream. I wash my hands a lot and my hands dry out quickly in colder weather.

Cotton breathes and might could potentially have a drying attribute, which you want to avoid. What about soft leather, like a driving glove? Or, here is an inexpensive test: wear socks on your hands over night! (By the way: any inspiration from God?)

100% natural is the way I prefer to go. As far as inspiration from God ...other than being led to slow down, take better care of my health/body, get adequate rest, good nourishment, etc .... I'd say taking care of my skin is in that category.

That makes a lot of sense to me. And btw, I used to play piano by ear ...rather, if ai watched someone play something, I could play it how I heard it, with a little ad-lib. But I haven't done that in many years. And ...I don't have long fingers. :)

I will try to find my measuring tape but I'm usually a size 6, which is usually about 6 inches. Typically a small. I went through a whole day of figuring this out.

I needed gloves that break the wind for -0 temps, but also flexible enough to work in a freezer. They're a little roomy on the fingers but they do the job.
