Voter rolls need to be cleaned up.

Why would anyone be opposed to this?
You mean why would anyone be opposed to a state purging their voting roles too late, in violation of federal law? Or removing people who shouldn't be removed? If they want to purge their roles fine, but it has to be done legally.

Don’t repeat things you hear from the media.

They are notorious liars.

All liars will have their part in the lake of fire.

The FEDS have been resisting for a while though.
Delay, delay, do not cooperate, till it's too late to do anything seems to normal operating procedures in courts, congress, FEDS.

The federal government repeatedly denied the state’s requests for a list of noncitizens residing in Alabama, according to Allen’s August announcement.

“I have been clear that I will not tolerate the participation of noncitizens in our elections,” Allen said in August. “I have even gone so far as to testify before a United States Senate Committee regarding the importance of this issue.”

Thank you for your post.

Good point. Just like prosecuting someone for a crime after the statute of limitations has passed? Or trying to jail someone when there was a technical violation in the arrest or trial?

Well, we can suppose that being a nation ruled by law is still better than one ruled (permanently) by a clique.

And if civilization seems to be collapsing, remember that God is still in charge.

1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.

(Psalm 2)

Blessings?

You mean He's working against Himself?

(you must be reformed).

Now who could imagine such a thing?
It's a backwards country.
They can't insist illegals have a right to vote. The Constitution forbids it.

Not that illegals won't vote. I remember an article from not that long ago. An illegal had multiple fake state ID cards and voter registration cards. Different names of course.

The DOJ and the Left know illegals obtain fake documents even before entering America.

I'd think this move by Harris and the lawfare of her FOJ would disqualify her from running. Maybe even get her impeached?
If she'll violate the Constitution as a poor VP example all these years what won't she do if she's president.

God forbid.

To clarify: this 90 day deadline does not preclude removal of names at the request of the registrant, removal due to death of the registrant, removal due to criminal conviction or mental incapacity of the registrant as provided by State law. Nor does the deadline preclude correction of a registrant’s information. What it does do is require that "A State shall complete, not later than 90 days prior to the date of a primary or general election for Federal office, any program the purpose of which is to systematically remove the names of ineligible voters from the official lists of eligible voters."

Thank you for your comments.

OK, please elaborate, for I do not understand them (and I admit to being several books short of a compete Bible).

(And we hope all is well for you in magnificent Italy.)

No country is magnificent anymore.
We're part of "the west".
Anyway, I'm American.

I keep hearing that God is in charge.
I hear that we belong to the Kingdom of God and we shouldn't be too concerned
about what goes on in "the world".
God is in charge.
God will take care of everything.

Well, I don't believe Jesus stayed behind to run countries, governments, etc.
I think He meant for US to do what would be to His liking.
It's unbelievable to think that the race is so close....
what have we become?
Our children are atheists .... everything has been taken from them.
What has it been replaced with?
Nothing.
The young see no future - or a bleak one at best.
Unfortunately, I agree with them.
Orwell and Huxley knew what was coming.

As to the reformed comment:
The reformed TRULY believe God is in charge of every little thing that happens,
including the movement of the dust in the air (as per John Piper)....
so it's OK if THEY state that God is in charge.

As far as the rest of Christianity,,,,
I agree that God is in charge, but He also left this world to us and is not going to step in
at every turn.
It's up to US to create a world we enjoy living in.
Maybe just a moral world would be sufficient.

Thanks for posting this link. Its first two sentences are revealing: "After being sworn into office on January 16, 2023, Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen immediately initiated strategic efforts to ensure that Alabama has the cleanest and most accurate voter file in the country. As part of this effort, Secretary Allen has identified 3,251 individuals who are registered to vote in Alabama who have been issued noncitizen identification numbers by the Department of Homeland Security.."

So, from January of 2023 through July of 2024 -- a year and a half -- Wes Allen has worked to figure out which people on Alabama's voting rolls are noncitizens. And he "identified 3,251 individuals who are registered to vote in Alabama who have been issued noncitizen identification numbers by the Department of Homeland Security." (These are people who have applied for green cards and people with F-1 student visas. That's all. That's who gets noncitizen ID numbers from DHS. Nobody else.)

How in hell did Alabama manage to register these noncitizens to vote in the first place? Should we blame Wes Allen? Tell you what -- let's gve him a pass on that one. Because he has a bigger issue: Why did he wait until 90 days before the election before acting?

The only reason I can come up with is that he is a Bozo. Maybe not as bad a Bozo as Joe Biden, but a Bozo nonetheless. I have zero sympathy.

Thank you for the details.

Now, surely there are still magnificent vistas in Italy, and everywhere that has not been trashed by humans!

Not sure about this label “reformed”; maybe I am just out of touch with current theological thinking and beliefs.

Has God changed over the millennia? Unless I am mistaken, the God of Adam & Eve is the God of Moses, King David, and Jesus; and us. He has plans for humanity we can trust, as God’s people have always.

As for me (and my family), I can well imagine all sorts of catastrophes, but my trust in God will not be shaken.

And yes, God says we each have a part to play in helping others, and persuading the persecutors, hypocrits, . . . to turn to Him. But up to us alone? No, I need His daily counsel and assistance more than ever. And He has never failed me yet.

Blessings.

LOL
Yes there are.
Just got back from one that was pretty nice.

The reformed faith is what some would call Calvinism.
The teachings of John Calvin.
Everything is predestined by God.
Man has no free will and is unable to reach for God....
so God has to decide who's saved and who isn't.

Has God changed over the millennia? Unless I am mistaken, the God of Adam & Eve is the God of Moses, King David, and Jesus; and us. He has plans for humanity we can trust, as God’s people have always.
Yes. Same God.
I'm sure He has a plan....
the only one I know of is His plan to save mankind because He knew Adam would fail.
And yet He wanted to create us.

Trust is good. I trust God.
But do we trust Him for the future if we don't know what the future is?
If we end up in 1984 will it have been God's plan to get us there?

As for me (and my family), I can well imagine all sorts of catastrophes, but my trust in God will not be shaken.
You said the magic words which I just repeated above....
FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Maybe I'm speaking globally and I think the conversation has to change a bit.
And yes, God says we each have a part to play in helping others, and persuading the persecutors, hypocrits, . . . to turn to Him. But up to us alone? No, I need His daily counsel and assistance more than ever. And He has never failed me yet.

I agree Bob.
You're speaking personally again.

Are you going to vote?
Some Christians think we shouldn't even be voting....
these are the people I can't agree with.

Well there ya have it…Biden-Harris busy at work making sure there is no FOREIGN COLLUSION in Federal elections…

Oh wait…wouldn’t that BE Foreign Collusion?

Didn’t they spend years and million's on fake documents accusing Trump of that?

They are SO DIRTY…and the disgusting part is; they are PROUD of their DIRTY DEEDS! And the sickening part is; the American people suffer.

No, I am not a Calvinist (although I somehow implied that).

Horrible things have happened to whole civilizations in the past, yet from the ashes new ones arose. We are each called, by God, to do our part in helping others, whether our community or nation or the world is improving or declining.

It is depressing to see once free nations going under (Great Britain?), but then there are new bright lights elsewhere (Argentina?). Do you see Italy as resilient? Is the United States resilient? In any event, if 1984 happens, it won’t change my beliefs, in particular to forge on as best I can (relying on God). My sphere of influence is limited: family foremost, and then (ever decreasing) community, county, state, . . . , but that appears to be the role God assigned me.

Vote? Yes, always.

My perspective re Adam & Eve is slightly different (perhaps even un-biblical): God created us through A&E as social mammals who have the potential to be better than them: caring & sharing for one another, being gentle & peaceful, embracing marriage between men & women, and preserving harmonious communities through community discipline.
But He also gave us free will, so as a result of our basic social mammal nature of self-centeredness, coveting, & rationalizing ends to accomplish selfish means, people have created societies far worse than any social mammal’s: with murder, enslavement, grudges passed to the next generation . . . .

So what can God’s long, long, long-term plan be: He will help those who love Him and their neighbors, He will turn intended evil into eventual good, . . . .

Enough rambling.

Peace be with you.

I definitely think all believers should vote, but not for any democrats, their party agenda platform policy goals are blatantly antichrist, world government oriented.

I believe in world government by Christ not by antichrist, who is coming, someday to be revealed as world leader who will demand all to follow and worship himself
