Lies can be offensive and truth can be shocking. As a theologian my ministry is to “set things straight” as they say. And I understand that many will reject the truth. That is ok. It is historical. There are people that have been taught false beliefs all their lives, then suddenly at sixty they hear the truth….it is to be expected that many will reject it.

Why did the Jews reject Christ? More than one reason but Christ spoke truths contrary to what they had been taught all their lives. Whether a person believes the truth or not maybe up to them or maybe up to God. I believe that at least Christians deserve to hear the truth even if they reject it. Does God believe that? I think so.

I am going to make statements of truths….it is up you to believe or look them up yourselves. And in looking them up you may have to look deeper than your average study resources because some false beliefs have become so popular that they are stated as facts in some resources.

I will start out with false doctrines….
The word Trinity is not in the Bible. The one God formula is not in the Bible. The Trinity exists as three Gods, simple as that. I have an essay that gives over a hundred scriptures that prove that the one God formula is wrong.

The doctrine of Original Sin is false. We do not inherit the sins of Adam and Eve, we inherit the results of the sins of Adam and Eve, we die because of their sins. Babies are not born because of sin or have sins.

The word Fornication is not in the scriptures but people have put them in Bibles. The words Trinity and Original Sins and Fornication are not biblical words and are examples that we should not put theological words that are not biblical in the Bible because nearly a hundred percent of the time they generate false beliefs and at times great sins.

Sex! Sex is not dirty, nasty, sinful, and of the devil. In a male dominate religion this belief has been tied to women….an instrument of the devil to tempt us good men. It can destroy marriages and families. The process of love, sex, procreation and families was designed and created by God, no sin.

No requirement in the scriptures for a marriage ceremony to be married. The belief that a marriage ceremony is required to be married has caused great harm to Christianity and great harm to people and great sins in large quantities….Even to the extent of warping reality.

All wedding ceremonies come from Pagan customs and the Gentiles brought that custom into Christianity but it was not considered mandatory until the Protestants made church weddings mandatory to be married in the 16th century. And if you are a “member” of a Protestant church you should follow this requirement. But still the union consummates the marriage in God’s eyes and there is no sin where a couple fall in love and remain together.

You want to live a life with few sins? First you have to know what are sins? They are listed specifically in the scriptures. Over the years people for various reasons have come up with man-made sins to the point that there are a lot more man-made sins than actual sins. To the extent that it is like a mine field full of false and actual sins and a person might step on a real sin trying to avoid false sins. Write down the sins listed in the scriptures and live by that. And I say scriptures not necessarily Bibles because some translations include man-made sins.

The names of God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are not in your Bible unless you have a Sacred Names Bible, even in good translations like NASB, NIV, ESV, etc. And the name of the God Holy Spirit is not in the scriptures at all.

God the Father’s name was removed from the Old Testament and God the Son’s name never appeared in the New Testament. The Greek word used for Christ’s name in the New Testament is Ἰησοῦς. It means healer and is not used for Greek persons unless they are doctors. And the name of the Holy Spirit does not appear in the scriptures. God the Father’s name is Hebrew….Yahweh and God the Son’s name is Hebrew….Yeshua. Miriam, His mother would not have given her son a Greek name. LOL

No one knows were the word Jesus came from. It appeared in the 16th century. Even the King James Versions of the Bible did not use it in its first prints.

Which brings us to the J slam. A lot of the charactors and places have been mistranslated. No J’s in the scriptures, Ys replaced with Js. Yob, Yoshua, Yacob, Yoseph, Yericho etc. The letter J came out in the 15th century but was made popular by William Shakespeare in the 16th century of which the King James Version used his poetic language style.

Today it is said that there are over 30,000 Protestant denominations. Are they all different? No. But back in the day there were two denominations….Jewish-Christians and Gentile- Christians and they were different. Christ’s ministry mostly occurred in the Old Covenant. If you look at the red letters in your Bible you will see that most of the time He was talking to Jews, a lot of the times about the Mosaic Law. Christ’s ministry was mostly to the Jews first and rightly so.

Some of these Jewish conversations do not directly correspond to Christian beliefs. One of the best examples is their discussion on divorce which even shocked His disciples. The context of the conversation includes the facts that we do not know how many wives these Jews had. And Christianity did not adopt the custom of divorce or the Law of a Letter of Divorce.

As I said, there were two denominations Jewish-Christians and Gentile-Christians and they were different. Jewish-Christians worshipped in the Temple but Gentile-Christians were not allowed in the Temple. The scriptures never put an end to polygamy and concubinage and slavery that includes Christ and the Apostles. And the Jewish-Christians practiced polygamy and concubinage and had slaves. Polygamy and concubinage was not a custom of the Gentiles so few of them practiced polygamy and concubinage.

But enough that the Apostle Paul had to stipulate that a leader of a church….congregation and overseer….could only have one wife. Both the Jewish-Christians and Gentile-Christians had slaves and that continued on into more modern times.

Part of reason for the customs and Laws concerning polygamy and concubinage was due to the 2nd rate status of women as in they were property. This continued on into Christianity to a lesser extent. And remanence of it continues on into modern Christianity. Many Christians oppose female preachers and women’s rights.

You will not find any scriptural support for not going to church...Now speaking in the language of the time period. No scriptural support for not assembling in a congregation to worship the Lord. Back then Christians risked their lives to assemble to worship the Lord. They had to do it at night in hiding. Christ suffered and died for us but today going to church is just to inconvenient for many....or one of a thousand excuses. Some call them lukewarm Christians, I call them Lazyboy Christians or non-participant pretenders. And they have the audacity to talk about Christianity like they know something ….What level of faith? What level of dedication? Not enough to get off their duff and go to Church and be an active part of the Church and Christian community. Worshipping the Lord is more than just knowing Sunday is the Lord’s Day….a day of rest! Lets hit the Lazyboy!
The scriptures also say to give to the Church….
What Does the Bible Say About Giving To The Church?
How do you do that from your Lazyboy? If all you can afford to give is a penny….give that.

But then again there are physical reasons persons cannot travel to church. They cannot go to Church or assemble in someone’s home due to health reasons. But they can watch services on television.

The Jewish-Christian sect pretty much died out by the end of the 1st century and the Gentile-Christians took the helm of Christianity.

Christian holidays were established by Gentile-Christians and reflect Pagan customs to an extent. But they were “Christianized” and are important Christian holidays and good to celebrate.
