All those who seek greater intimacy with God must be wondering what our Creator really likes. What attitudes and behaviors catch His eye and make God's heart glow with joy? In search of the answer to this question, we delve into the depths of our spirituality and knowledge of the Divine Character.
God, who created us and knows us better than we know ourselves, does not require spectacular deeds or great sacrifices from us to please Him. He does not expect more from us than we are able to do. It should be noted that we are not called to suffer constantly or to give up our joys and desires. God, as the perfect Father, desires our happiness and fullness of life.
He Himself created us with a desire for joy, love and fulfillment. God's favor does not depend on our outward achievement or perfection. On the contrary, God is interested in our interior, our intentions and authenticity. In today's video, we will present five attitudes that please the Heart of God and make us attract his blessing.
Number one, Faith. First, to please God, faith is necessary. As the Letter to the Hebrews says: "Without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." This biblical wisdom shows us the importance of having and developing our faith. By faith, as a gift from God, we become able to transcend the visible world and enter into the realm of the spiritual realm. In the Bible we can find many examples of people who put their faith in God and were blessed by Him. Abraham, the father of faith believed God, even when what he expected seemed impossible.
Moses, leading the Israelites through the desert, relied on God's guidance, even though he faced many difficulties. Like these biblical heroes, our faith consists in trusting God and His promises. This is the belief that God is faithful and strong, that his plans are perfect, even if we sometimes do not fully understand them.Faith also means going beyond the limits of your own reason and trusting God regardless of the circumstances. It is an attitude that puts our lives in God's hands, accepting His will and guiding our ways. When our faith is strong, God can work in amazing ways in our lives.
Jesus Christ repeatedly emphasized the power of faith and encouraged his disciples to entrust themselves to God. He said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Uproot yourself and plant yourself in the sea,' and it would obey you." in his letter, "Faith without works is dead. Our faith should be manifested in acts of love, service and justice towards others. When faith permeates our lives, we become witnesses of God's presence and action. Our faith is made alive by the Holy Spirit, who
strengthens us in times of trial, gives us courage and the conviction that God is with us. May our faith be the fruit of prayer, study of God's Word and contemplation of His presence. May it be alive and practical, transforming our lives and affecting our relationships with others. God wants so that we develop our faith and become His witnesses in the world.May our attitude of faith bring glory to God and build our bond with Him, filling our hearts with hope, peace and strength to change.
Number two, Desire to fix what is wrong in our lives their desire to change for the better. Among the mysteries of life there is a strong desire that beats in our hearts. This desire to correct, the desire to change what is wrong in our lives, is the second attitude that pleases God. It is a voice that calls for transformation, reconstruction and striving for a better tomorrow. This desire is like a spark that ignites in us when we look at our lives from the perspective of truth. Sometimes we see the areas where we have failed, the moments that let us down, the habits that limit us.
But it is in these moments that we see the potential to change, to become better versions of ourselves. We are not doomed to stagnation or to repeating the same mistakes. God sees our willingness to change, to grow spiritually, and to discover our true calling. He wants us to become renewed people who radiate His love and wisdom. The desire to improve does not mean that God requires us to be perfect. He knows us perfectly and understands our human limitations. But in our desire to change for the better, in our desire to develop, there is God's grace and His power working in our lives.
God does not require great sacrifices or spectacular achievements from us. He enjoys our small steps towards transformation. It is our determination, our willingness to make an effort to repair and improve our character, attitudes or relationships, that pleases God. As we place our desire for correction in His hands, He guides and sustains us. His wisdom and grace are available to us to help us transform our lives. We are called to work with God to achieve what we cannot achieve on our own.
So let our desire to fix become the engine of our spiritual journey. May it lead us to greater conformity to His will. May He give us the strength to overcome obstacles, overcome our weaknesses, and move forward with faith in His promises. The desire to correct is an expression of our faith, our hope, and our love for God. Let this desire be our guide on the way to a better life, to growth and experience the fullness of His blessings.
Number Three, Fighting Sin. As we grow spiritually and draw closer to God, the third attitude that pleases God is to fight against sin. Sin is like a shadow that covers our hearts and distances us from God's presence. But in our desire for salvation, in our striving for holiness, God finds joy and contentment. Fighting sin requires courage and determination. It is not an easy task, but when we face our weaknesses and mistakes, when we recognize sin as an obstacle to true life, we become participants in God's fight for our salvation. God does not expect us to fight sin alone. His grace and power are available to us to cooperate with him.
This is a battle that takes place on a spiritual level, with the help of the Holy Spirit who guides and strengthens us in our spiritual battle. Fighting sin means rejecting our sinful desires and habits, replacing them with Godly values and attitudes. It is a process of purifying our heart, renewing our mind, and strengthening our will to follow God's commandments. In this fight we must be aware that sin has many faces. It can be greed, pride, envy, hatred, or anything else that distances us from loving God and our neighbor.
We must be willing to acknowledge our sinful tendencies and take steps to combat them. But the fight against sin is not only a negative aspect of our spiritual life. It is also an expression of our love for God and our desire to live in accordance with His will. This is an expression of our striving for holiness, to be an image of His love and grace in the world. God does not require us to be perfect in this fight. He knows our weaknesses, he is full of mercy and always ready to forgive. But He also expects us to fight sin with full commitment and determination.
God sees our determination and the difficulties we face and is present in our struggle. So let's take this attitude of fighting sin with courage and faith. Let it be our response to God's invitation to salvation and holiness. Let our fight against sin become a source of spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with God. May it bear fruit of goodness and transform our lives for the better.
