Right. We aren't saved by the Bible. We aren't saved by the church. We aren't saved by baptism. We aren't saved by doctrine. Only God can save. God saves us through a renewed relationship with Him. Salvation is a relationship with God. [

My point is that these are named prophets in the NT. Prophecy should be a body part of every church. Even today. [

I think Jesus can stand on His own without a literal Genesis account. Some things can stand as symbolic. [

Believers who question the literal Genesis account agree that humankind is sinful... If not due to Adam's fall, someone allowed sin to enter. Adam could be a representative for the situation we find ourselves in. [

The atheists do a better job of explaining than I would. But in general, there are questions about whether Moses existed. Questions about who actually wrote the Books of Moses. Questions about the Exodus. Questions about Canaan and the conquest. Questions about the origins of humankind...
