The Truth is found in a Person, Jesus the Christ Who is given to us by His Spirit.
Amen!....the truth is found in us, when Spirit gives birth to spirit....it’s the Spirit who testified with my spirit that I am Gods child...there was NO Bible in sight when I became Born Of The Spirit.

It was the Spirit ,the Living Spirit Of God who testified with my spirit..Bible verses can’t do that..

Our Living testimony who indwell our spirit ..is the only one who can testify to our heart/ spirit who we are in Christ...we have been Born Again of imperishable seed...that seed is Alive and Active in our hearts....Praise God.

All of those verses are real..only, you need ears and eyes to hear and see...

I posted the actual verses for you from the NIV, and the New Living Translation.

Neigher of the versions, in Luke 4:2, say that Jesus was sent into the wilderness "TO BE TEMPTED".

The phrase "TO BE TEMPTED" is not found, in LUKE 4:2, in a NIV or in a New Living Translation.

So, thats the final answer.

You totally lost me here.

My simple question was about the last statement. Unity in the Essentials. Did you read this in the bible or receive this directly from the Holy Spirit. I've heard this quoted before but out of interest, where is its origin in the bible?
Ephesians 4:15
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
Colossians 2:19
And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.
Revelation.1:5
And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Bible verses came from the Spirit of God.
Bible verses confirms that God is a Living Spirit..they also confirm how we are Born Again....by the Living Spirit of God....Spirit gives birth to spirit?
Your Calvinism didnt.
Bible verses didn’t testify with my spirit that I am Gods child...only the Living Spirit can do that..

Which it appears that you have no understanding of who Gods Living testimony is.

According to you...I agree to disagree.

All. you have to do, is go to a REAL LINK = to those Bible versions.

Here is one.. and there are many more.
Just take a look and notice that the NIV does not say.. "TO BE Tempted"., nor does hte NLT

The Bible records the teachings of Jesus Christ and his way of life.
Some of what Jesus taught and did 2000 years ago was documented. Most never were of course.

This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.
Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

But its the bible that says that the Spirit testifies with our spirit.

This is a New Testament VERSE.

So, the words you are using to describe your experience, are found in the NT.....found in a BIBLE.

My spirit was birthed ..by Gods Living witness the Living Spirit..
, are found in the NT.....found in a BIBLE.
The Bible confirms how the Spirit testifies with our spirit.

Are you ok...how can a verse of scripture testify with our spirit that it’s Born Again....seriously..do you actually understand what it means when Spirit gives birth to spirit?

It’s a Living supernatural act....which you obviously have no understanding of.

How else would I know that my spirit inside of me was Born Again?

By the testimony of the Living Spirit, that’s how....

Born Again of imperishable seed..do you understand that the seed that we are Born Again Of is the Living seed of God...do you truly know in your heart that God is Alive and Active?...it sure don’t sound like it.

Another question..does your heart/ spirit know how much God loves you?

Or do you only know that by reading the word...time you started seeking God’s heart out ..for there is where you will find him..the Bible confirms this...my heart knows that it’s Gods child...he also loved us first...the Bible confirms that also...

You seem to forget that I was Born Again with no Bible in sight...that’s why your having a hard time understanding my posts...

Your testimony is your testimony..my testimony is my testimony and it will NEVER be denied because it doesn’t fit in with your testimony..

All you do is call people liars, cults, demon possessed, and Calvinists...because you have NO understanding of their biblical testimonies...sigh. @Behold ..I pray that you come to know the Love Of God deep within your heart...instead of all this hatred you show for those who don’t believe as you do...

But no one really thinks seriously about looking at things the way Jesus Christ does... people always interpret the Bible from their own perspective. So this is where the divergence begins.

I think in 1551, a Parisian printer named Robert Stephanus published a Greek and Latin edition of the New Testament in which each chapter was divided into separate verses. These are the verse divisions still in use today. They first appeared in an English translation in the 1560 Geneva Version".

I think we were quoting from the same book, but at the same time, a different book.

1. Bible

2. Matthew and Luke

So how do we get to know all what Jesus taught when He was on earth that was not recorded in the bibles?

Is it lost forever or until we see Him in Person? Or is there another way?

The part about Jesus Christ recorded in the Bible is the most important part. If you feel it's not enough, you can seek the help of the Holy Spirit.

But if the Holy Spirit doesn't come, you can study the whole Bible and think about the whole idea of the Bible. Even if there are word translation errors, we can eventually understand the true meaning of the full text of the Bible.

The Doctrine for the Church, was never given by Jesus when He was alive, as He was only dealing with JEWS.
I am refering to the Living Christ Head in heaven communicating with Christ the Living Body part on earth.

He is the current Teacher Who teaches the Church live, as well as through 2000 year old replays. He's been using His body parts constantly over the past 2000 years right up to today.

Well, i could post a photo of the actual page, Taken out of both Versions, so that you can see that these literal bibles ....... neither say....>"To be tempted". in Luke 4.

But, even seeing the page in the actual bibles, is not going to help you, at this point.

However, for the people who want to know, then they can do a 30 second research, and discover for themselves that Bible Versions, including the KJV< do not state "To Be Tempted" in Luke 4:2.
