Please don't just ignore these things, saying, I have my testimony, and that's not it. I'm not talking about personal testimony, which is our opinion of what we perceive about what happened when we became Christians. I'm solely telling you what the Bible says in this place.

If in any instance our experiences are telling us something different from the plain sayings in the Bible, we need to give careful consideration to the sayings of the Bible.

I don't at all mean this as though to say your faith is false or something like that, I don't think that for a moment! Nor do I dismiss your testimony. You are the one who lived it. Yes, the CAVEAT…
“AS many “AS” received Him”!!

Belief of / by the man comes BEFORE the mans “Receiving” Gods Gift Offerings.

Even men can offer gifts to “other” men.
The “other” doesn’t “possess / Have” the Gift, until the “other” reaches out and “TAKES” the Gift.

Sister, I just want to point out that because something isn't resonating with our spirit doesn't necessarily mean it is wrong, because we ourselves are not the measure of what is true or untrue. Some things wont' resonate with us simply because we have not received or are not receiving the understanding for whatever reason.

Like with a lot of arguments I think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I do not see the Lord coming in to dwell within a person against their will. He does all He can to woo and draw us, like a groom with His bride, and if we do not resist His Spirit when He comes calling, we will be born again. Our will is involved. Some resist the Spirit, some harden their hearts against Him, as scripture says, others open their hearts to Him and receive, though who can really say why in every case.....but God knows. Jesus rebuked those who were resisting the Spirit and rejecting Him. I have seen some reject and resist Him the first time He tries to draw them, but some years later after experiencing more of life on the Potter's wheel, when He tries again to draw them, they don't resist Him.

I think it's important not to sort of confine ourselves to only one or two scriptures on a subject but seek and look at the whole counsel of God on it.

On this topic, of being born again, in addition to the ones you have in mind, the bible also says this, it's one of my favourites:

Act 17:27
That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us

And along those same lines scripture also says this:

Luk 11:9
“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

So it doesn't seem to be a case of people being left entirely to the whim of a fickle God.....we do have a small part to play, and He will respond to seeking hearts. As well as that maybe some weren't or aren't particularly seeking Him but He will let in enough light that they may open to Him when He comes knocking on their door. I consider that what happens with the new birth is the same for everyone....but how it leads up to that very moment of new birth can differ from person to person. I hope this makes sense.

I do..I was Born Of The Spirit and had no say in the matter...as I was chosen and predestined to become a child of God.

We are Born Again by the will of God....my will doesn’t even come into the equation .....how would I know myself to will my spirit to become Born Again....Spirit gives birth to spirit.....like I said....your understanding is your understanding...my understanding is how God brings me to understand ...the rebirth in my heart....not from reading scripture....The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children.....the Bible can’t testify with our spirit that we are Gods children....the Bible is in harmony with the Living testimony of the Spirit.

He does all He can to woo and draw us, like a groom with His bride, and if we do not resist His Spirit when He comes calling, we will be born again. Our will is involved. Some resist the Spirit, some harden their hearts against Him, as scripture says, others open their hearts to Him and receive, though who can really say why in every case.....but God knows. Jesus rebuked those who were resisting the Spirit and rejecting Him. I have seen some reject and resist Him the first time He tries to draw them, but some years later after experiencing more of life on the Potter's wheel, when He tries again to draw them, they don't resist Him.

Gods Love , Spirit is irresistible....he draws us to Jesus the way he had planned from the beginning...he also opens our heart, in his timing to receive his Spirit into our hearts/ spirit...all according to his will....which is not by force as you understand it....you weren’t Born Of The Spirit the same way as me..so how could you possibly understand how I was Born Again.

No more than I can possibly understand your rebirth..makes no sense to me either, that you invited God in.

I go by Gods Living testimony...the Bible didn’t birth my spirit....so why would I be consigned to certain scripture?

And along those same lines scripture also says this:

So it doesn't seem to be a case of people being left entirely to the whim of a fickle God.....we do have a small part to play, and He will respond to seeking hearts. As well as that maybe some weren't or aren't particularly seeking Him but He will let in enough light that they may open to Him when He comes knocking on their door. I consider that what happens with the new birth is the same for everyone....but how it leads up to that very moment of new birth can differ from person to person. I hope this makes sense.

No we don’t....we have no part to play..in becoming Born Of The Spirit.....God does it all...there is no glory in you...we are Born Of The Spirit = by supernatural divine heart revelation.

Not by reading reams of scripture...scripture is in harmony with the testimony of the Living Spirit.

Born of the Spirit = exactly as Jesus explains it to Nicodemas = by supernatural divine heart revelation.

Only the Living Spirit is my teacher...not you,Sister...you are on a different journey in the Lord than I.

You say that you chose God....I say that he chose me.....so best not to try to force the other what they believe....as God doesn’t force us.....unfortunately for some reason some force what they believe onto me....that is not of God....it’s Of them.

That was my intent, to share with you something the Bible says. That's what I've done. Your questions for the most part don't really come from Scripture, like, "what in you knows God loves you first", there is not a Bible passage that makes that statement.

So if you fault me for not answering something like that, well, one may say it this way, one may say it that way, and when I answer, you will disagree, you will say it does not resonate, whatever, but it becomes an argument over words, and that would be fruitless.

Once again, trying to divert everything on to me...it certainly is fruitless when you and a few others tell me that I chose God....No I didn’t...God chose me and loved me first, when Spirit gives birth to spirit.

We know the Love Of God in our spirit ,when Spirit gives birth to spirit.....

There isn't a verse in the Bible that says, "This is the part of you that knows God loved you first." So therefore there won't be one specific Biblical answer, a particular word, your heart, your mind, your spirit, whatever you answer will be your own word choice.

Our heart is where we know the Love Of God...we are to seek the heart of God out are we not?

He indwells my heart...so I seek to know his heart daily.....

It is not forced gift, nor without the mans Consent.

Consent (by the man) occurs when the man Freely… CHOOSES…ELECTS…CONFESSES his Choice / Election to the Lord God.
