Impeachable Offenses

As the Constitution states, Congress may impeach executive or judicial officers for the following offenses:

Treason
Bribery
"High Crimes and Misdemeanors"

Treason and bribery are relatively straightforward. Article III, Section 3, Clause 1 defines treason as follows:

Levying war against the United States
Giving an enemy "Aid and Comfort"

Humm, is keeping foreigners, who broke into the US, committed More crimes once In the US…and preventing their deportation, giving AID to an enemy of the US?

For the past 3 weeks,@SocialSecurity has been executing amajor cleanup of their records.
Approximately 7 million number holders, all listed age 120+,have now been marked as deceased.
Another ~5 million to go!!

Payout have routinely been paid out to desceased named card holders…and Funds received by “fraudsters”!

Credit Cards - (in regard to Credit Cards issued to Govt Employees, the Taxpayor Foots the Bill.

Aside from “UN-Authorized Spending” (fraud), eliminating, card issuing first step.)

Pilot program with 16 agencies to audit unused/unneeded credit cards.After 5 weeks, ~298,000 cards havebeen de-activated.

As a reminder, at the start of the audit,there were ~4.6M activecards/accounts, so still more work to do.

In 2020-2021, @SBAgov issued3,095 loans, including PPP(Paycheck Protection Program)and EIDL (Economic InjuryDisaster Loan), for $333M toborrowers over 115 years old who were still marked as alive in the Social Security database.

I wonder if the 115 year olds marked as alive in the social security database had wives who were much younger and still collect on their husband's Social security, and that is why they are marked as such.

Well, if there are any mistakes—such as a simple typo in the database, effectively adding 30 - 50 years—they should show up in the April distribution.

And then there is the federal pension database, which apparently consists of paper copies. Also, there are the various computers sending out money from who knows what database to whom we do not always know.

It's quite easy for us in the Antipodes to laugh at all the shenanigans that has been going on, but we are talking about some extremely evil goings on here, the likes of which has only been previously reported in corrupt "banana republics", and then only by a select few leaders in that place. It seems that DOGE is discovering fraud and corruption everywhere it turns. And in an administration with a philosophy that boasted of its inclusivity, democratic values, progressive thinking, and self righteousness, it's all quite astounding.

My perspective probably may sound strange. And likely cynical. But all that corruption and theft and fraud and whatever else they may uncover, is making it real easy...too easy...to exalt Trump to such an extent that the people would be willing to give him licence to do just about anything to make their lives easier. Anything. And at any cost.

i wouldn’t say exalt, rather, I believe Trump reveals his character and enjoys the Respect and Love people from all walks of life reveals to him.

Trump is not promoting underhanded promises to steal from one to dole out to others.
Rather, opportunity to earn for one’s self and do with one’s own “as they Choose.”
And…exalt God, and be thankful for “His” Blessings.

Younger wives or husbands, or children cannot collect social security from the deceased unless the deceased aren't reported. Funeral homes and morgues report this. Unless you pay off the funeral home or bury the body in the back yard.

Agreed, but: widows at any age can receive benefits if they have a child who is under age 16 or who became disabled before age 22.
