Two different perspectives: what is best for the country versus what is best for a political party (and each party member: power, prestige, wealth leached from taxpayers, . . . ).

Note also: one party says our government is a servant of the people, and should give priority to defending the natural rights of all who live here. The other party says government should step in and help all oppressed peoples, with social justice, food, shelter, clothing, and healthcare (paid for by rich taxpayers).

The tariffs wil make things more expensive for US Consumers.
Things will rapidly go downhill and there will be big protest rallies (some already started).
Previous administrations were bad, this present one is worse.
This president said he would stop that war the first day in office.

It is kind of you to be concerned about increased costs for U.S. customers when tariffs are imposed.

Of course Canada already imposes tariffs on some U.S. goods, such as dairy products, which should make you angry with your government.

The goal of zero tariffs was championed by Milton Friedman, who said that citizens of a country are better served by the lowest-cost goods and services, and their country should embrace the production of the ones they do best, and import the ones other countries excel at. For the U.S. the one-sided tariffs have led to the loss of much manufacturing (and jobs), which has made the country hostage to those nations that control certain vital products (e.g. computer chips).

The countries you list already have had their own tariffs in place, believing it is more prudent to protect their businesses than to strive for the lowest cost goods. The complaint that the U.S. will impose identical tariffs on their (your) imports is really about how those tariffs will adversely affect (their/your) businesses, which rely on the U.S. to buy their/your goods.

Remove your tariffs, and we will not impose ours. Free trade!

American hatred of Democratic party has reached new levels, only 31% are favorable.

Americans may not like the GOP, but they really don’t like the Democratic Party, a new poll has found.

The party of Jefferson, Jackson, Kennedy, Clinton, Obama and Biden holds a 57% unfavorable rating among voters, according to the Quinnipiac University survey released Wednesday, while just 31% of voters say they have a favorable view.

The Republican Party, meanwhile, has a 43% favorability rating among voters and a 45% unfavorability rating, per the poll.

The Democrats’ unfavorability rating is the highest since Quinnipiac pollsters began asking the question in November 2008. Similarly, the percentage of voters viewing the GOP favorably is the highest over the same period.

The brutal rating for Democrats comes as the party is licking its wounds from the 2024 election cycle, which saw all 50 states move to the right.

Your claims may be somewhat accurate--but it is only part of the information: You are only getting what is released to the public, which is all that's allowed during what unbeknownst to the general public, is a covert war for an entirely different reason.

The war now being waged is not new, but old and has resurfaced. Basically, in history Russia fought against Khazar because of their evil and ungodly practices, defeated them, but they scattered and a few regrouped to continue covertly as what has become known as the Khazarian Mafia. If you would like to do the research, you will discover that you and most of the unknowing public have been helping them with their evil agenda, which Russia and a select alliance of the leaders of 209 nations have determined to stop: Khazarian Mafia (if that doesn't give you all you need, just search Khazarian Mafia, there's plenty more). Being closest to the Khazarian Headquarters (Ukraine), Russia is hosting the war against them...which, incidentally is why Korea (of all countries) has troops there. Meanwhile, Kazarian operatives in the US and European governments, media, military, financial institutions, etc, have been helping the Khazarians with taxpayer funded weapons and support.

If you will take the time to educate yourself, you'll want to stop helping the evil Khazarians, and start helping to defeat them.
