Revelation 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Does He love them? Does a loving parent continue to love an offspring who chooses to ignore them?

Jack you didn't answer my question.
So you're saying God shows His love for people by burning them in Hell with the worst beings who ever lived, FOREVER?

God has set before all "life and death, blessing and cursing" as an act of love to all--equally.

Thus, eternal torment is NOT a choice made by God, but by those who hate Him.

If a human dictator tortured his political enemies like that (and human history is replete with such dictators), we'd bomb the snot out of his country, send in the marines, and string him up publicly. See "Hussein, Saddam".

"So, Carpenter, are you saying that God could learn a lesson in morality from Vlad the Impaler?"
(Satan to narrator Allen Carpenter, Inferno, by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle)

God answers to NOBODY! He drowned all on Earth but 8. He burned Sodom alive, including children. He didn't ask permission. He doesn't ask permission to burn people in Hell FOREVER!

No!

John 3:36

King James Version

36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

God does not know the unbeliever!

Abideth is the present active indicative which means Gods wrath is abidsing on those not chosen from the foundations of th eworld!

God knows those who are HIs and those who are not.

How do you know that???
Because Jack God's children are those who are re-born spiritually in Jesus and have been already been judged and forgiven.

Doesn't mean they can't depart from the Faith.

Oh so you're one of those people who do not believe that our God given salvation is forever.

.
The wrath of God is interesting. For example:

Isa 13:9 . . Behold, the day of The Lord comes-- cruel; with both wrath
and fierce anger

The Hebrew word for "wrath" in that statement pertains to an outburst of
passion. In other words: the wrath of God won't be weeping big wet
crocodile tears while it's slamming the dead at the great white throne event
depicted at Rev 20:11-15; no, they will be terminated with extreme
prejudice. (cf. Isa 63:1-6, Rev 19:15)

Webster's defines "fierce" as a behavior exhibited by humans and animals
that inspires terror because of the wild and menacing aspect of fury in
attack. Ferocity is an aspect commonly seen among carnivorous beasts
savagely ripping prey. There's neither sportsmanship nor sympathy in
ferocity; only sheer terror, brutality, and blood lust.

"cruel" is defined as: disposed to inflict pain or suffering; viz: devoid of
humane feelings

Another interesting aspect of the wrath of God is the person appointed to
administer it-- none other than the man who came into the world as a sweet
little babe in swaddling clothes.

John 5:22-23 . .The Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment
to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father.

Acts 17:31 . . For God has set a day when he will judge the world with
justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men
by raising him from the dead.

Rev 19:15 . . He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the wine
press of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Not much for presentations of the Lord Jesus Christ as a God of hatred and evil.
