Freed : From Calvinism and HyperCalvinism )Tulip<>5 Pont.

Actual “Mormon” here: there is a gap between what 1) I believe and Trinitarian, And 2) Calvinim vs everyone else. Gap #2 is twenty times wider. I can be chill with Creedal statements. Impossible with Calvinism statements.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

The best question is about salvation, because salvation is the most important topic anyone can talk about.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Jesus Christ alone is my Savior and Salvation. No one else. I believe in the Gospel due to witness from the Holy Spirit. Have a great day.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Mary, I can't remotely take a Catholic arguing pro-sola scriptura as a requirement to be "Christian" seriously. This is beyond silly.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Mary: this has nothing to do with being a Christian. Catholics openly don't believe in sola biblia.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

What is your point? Do you believe that a requirement to be Christian includes believing God only inspired the Bible? Do you proclaim sola biblia?

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Mary, neither Catholics nor LDS Christians believe in sola biblia. Your complaint here makes zero sense. I treat you and other Catholics on here with great respect. I ask that you do the same to me-- thus far you've not been. My faith is in Jesus Christ, the very one Son of God.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Hi @th1b.taylor , I'm a "Mormon". Would you like to talk about my relationship with my Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God? Just an option. If you'd rather not and just leave your statement as is, I totally respect that.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

A CATHOLIC is complaining about not being sola biblia? That's hilarious.

Mary, do you appreciate it when folks make accusations against you, (laughably) trying informing you what Catholics believe, and how it's all unbiblical?

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

You'd be amazed how often other folks try to inform me what I believe and how it's weighted.

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

You and I approach things very differently. A see people believing and worshipping together to be community, and (ideally) can support each other. To lean on, teach, cheer up, celebrate together. Obviously never worsphi a man or blindly follow, but a community can be very good. A church...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

I've been talking about MY faith in Christ. You're the only one talking about any organization. I get that some people think "religion = organization = something different than a person having a relationship with Christ" but I don't approach things with that mindset. Faith is deeply personal...

Are Mormons Christians? (Latter Day Saints)

Let me clarify things here. Starting with saying the following ideas are just false trash: - You can remotely work your way to Heaven. - Accepting Christ gives you a license to sin in any way - "Oh yeah I accept Christ" and then continuing the exact same unremorseful sinful way / heart you did...

Totally a million % agree that the origin of joy is from the Lord, and because of His grace & love. It's not because anything we have done. For me, the highest form of worship is to become like Him- allowing His Holy power transform me. Sharing that same amazing love with Him.
