    Psalm 22

Bs"d What percentage of the people could read in those days you think? Besides that, Hebrew was not the going language, so most didn't speak it, and the vast majority couldn't read it. Only the rabbis could read it, and they were not going to convert to Christianity.

    Psalm 22

Bs"d If only the first century believers would have been able to read Hebrew, then the problem wouldn't have got started.

    Psalm 22

Bs"d NOWHERE in the whole Hebrew Bible is a virgin birth to be found. That is only found in pagan mythology. Isaiah 7 does NOT speak about the birth of the messiah. It gives a sign to king Achaz, who lived 700 years before JC. So it cannot have any bearing on JC. Read here what is...

    Psalm 22

Bs"d Giving a wrong translation because you yourself are quoting a wrong translation is also mistranslating.
  5. Eliyahu613

    Psalm 22

Bs"d In that case, Matthew goes wrong by quoting a wrong translation. And the LXX is not a reliable document. Here are a few excerpts from the online Catholic Encyclopedia, here to be found: CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Home from the entry "Septuagint" which show the reliability of the LXX...

    Psalm 22

Bs"d And in that quote he mistranslated it. Here is what is going on in Isaiah 7: Isaiah 7

God is probably more than three?

Bs"d Nowhere in the Bible, also not in Matt 28:19, is a triune God to be found. All over the Bible it says that God is one. https://sites.google.com/view/he-is-one/home

God is probably more than three?

Bs"d Psalm 2 speaks of King David. He is the anointed one, (messiah means "anointed one") see I Sam 16:12-13. Here David is anointed by the priest and prophet Samuel, something that never happened with Jesus, he was never anointed by a prophet or priest, but only by a sinful woman, which of...

God is probably more than three?

Bs"d Well, it is a kind of simple: When God is one, than He is NOT more than three, and also not more than one.

God is probably more than three?

Bs"d "And they shall be one flesh" ..... In the Hebrew: "wehayu levasar echad" ..... This text is claimed by Christianity to prove that the word 'echad' can point to, or be, a 'composite unity', one being made up of more than one. 'Echad', one, can point to a composite unity. Of...

God is probably more than three?

Bs"d And that is what the Bible teaches: "Hear Israel, Y-H-W-H is our God, Y-H-W-H is ONE!" Deut 6:4 "Listen, Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is One" Holman Christian Standard Bible "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." English Standard Version "Hear, O Israel! The...

Who is the suffering servant in Isaiah 53?

Bs"d Yes, the NT goes way beyond what is written. Faith implies believing what is written, not making up your own stories.
  13. Eliyahu613

    The messiah didn't come yet.

Bs"d "There was no different form"?? You don't believe in your own gospels? Mark 16:12-13 "Afterward Jesus appeared IN A DIFFERENT FORM to two of them while they were walking in the country."

The eternal sign that God has set in the Jewish people

Bs"d Are you saying that all those things happened, even though nobody has seen it? No. I don't want to see things which don't exist. I like to keep both feet solidly on the ground.

What is the difference between a Jew and a Christian?

Bs"d There is no "God with a triniform nature". That concept is totally made up and nowhere to be found in the Bible. It is a bad attempt to cover up the polytheism of Christianity. What the Bible teaches is that God is ONE: God is one And one is not the same as three, and not the same...
