Correct. Liberalism is a weak form of Communist Totalitarianism. And that is why the Democrats have become Marxist/Communist/Fascist. When it comes to Christianity, Liberalism = Apostasy.

I agree about liberalism causing apostasy, the great falling away has been happening since the time of Christ and has increased the past decades, especially now. The worst thing a person can do is claim Christ, but then stand against all that He stood for, there is no faith in this. It's a faith that has been transformed BY the world, not Christ. They do turn away from faith in God and look to the government for their needs, this is not a Biblical concept.

Most of what you are going to hear is talking around the topic, not talking about the topic.
Most of what you are going to hear is going to be an insult on intelligence, an insult on truth, an insult on the Bible, and an insult on God. The Bible is not about legalism, it is about truth. If the Bible says that homosexuality, transvestites, prostitution, sexual perversions and promiscuity etc are sinful and are the practice of evildoers...the Word of God is not pointing fingers, it is not legalism, it is not being mean, it is not being unfair. But it is the part of the Bible that liberals find offensive. These things are part of the whole Gospel. They are only interested in the verses that tickle their ears.
Oh so much that they wish they could find the words tolerance or acceptance for sin and evildoers in the Bible. But they cannot. But it is socially unacceptable to quote the Word of God that addresses sin and evildoers. And anyone that does quote them is bad mouthed.
Why they do not take a magic marker and line out anything about morality and sin in their Bibles I do not know, that way the Bible does not offend them or accuse them of sin every time they open it up.
Such emotions they have, fight for the right to sin. Reminds me of the vampires that cringe when someone show them a cross.
How Christians should associate with evildoers and how we should minster to them is described the Bible, but they do not want anyone to bring that up either.

I really would expect that would be determined by your definition of "Liberal" Political liberals are supporting all sorts of ungodly things these days I would be hard pressed to think that someone who supports abortion and certain "rights" issues would be inline with the word of God.

Some people focus on the love aspect of God and make allowances for people's foibles and sins, all in the name of Jesus' love. But these seems to go against what Jesus told many sinners he helped. Go and sin no more

I try to see a way that putting people's feelings over the truth of God as being valid. and maybe for the time they are transitioning from sinner to saint there can be room for that. But at some point all lies and compromise must be put away, in favor of the the truth - in my opinion

Liberal Christians don't refer to themselves as "liberal". That was a label given to them by others. A liberal Christian is someone who does not believe in the supernatural; does not believe in miracles; and especially does not believe in the resurrection of the dead. A liberal Christian attempts to follow Jesus as one would follow any other "good teacher" such as Buddha or Gondi. They don't believe that God deals directly with human beings or that he interferes in the affairs of men. God leaves us alone to work things out for ourselves.

Other than the moral teaching of Jesus, a liberal Christian does not commend prayer or mediation to those who seek self improvement. Rather, man is only able to progress through science and technology. Liberal Christians tend to read the Gospels through Marist lenses, believing that Jesus taught a form of socialism, or communism.

And they make scripture subservient to their leftist ideology and political correctness.

People that do not like labels...think about that. Why? What are they really saying when they say things like, "People like labels!" In other words they do not like labeling people as evildoers.
Do they take all the labels off their can goods? Labels off their medicines?
Or is it a suggestion for people to shut up and not discuss morals. If you notice the people that have issue with this are people that do not want right and wrong or good or bad or righteous or evildoers differentiated. Everything is a grey area, including right and wrong.

Oh yes, conservatives and liberals, ya know they are labels used to differentiate the political positions of politicians, but they can also be applied socially. But ya know what these labels cannot be applied to...the Bible and God. There is no liberal or conservative sections of the Bible...just truth...facts.
As I said before, too many times people go to the Bible to prove or confirm their beliefs, instead of reading the whole Bible and learning from it. It is called motivated perception or YSWYWTS...LOL.
Parts of society can be a very perverse culture...live and let live...mind your own business...peace, love, smoke pot. Where would we be if Christ and the Apostle thought that way???
Now when some apply these social concepts to their religious beliefs they are going to congregate to the OSAS groups or practice their beliefs as like a church of one. Only logical, who wants to be in a religion were you know you are going to hell...Needing a hell insurance policy?
Logic...cause and effects...choices and consequences....responsibility and accountability, and ramifications, not favored topics in the OSAS crowd.

Most liberals I've heard speak adopt the "Liberal" label as a badge of pride for supposedly being more "open-minded." Since the Enlightenment Period in the 18th century, there has developed an attitude in Europe that conservative, doctrinally-orthodox Christianity is outmoded and based on superstition, and is anti-science and anti-reason.

Since that time the Western world has directed its universities and public education to avoid religious "bigotry" and "narrow-minded dogmatism." Religion has essentially been relegated to a kind of "cultural artifact," and in its place humanistic morality, with its constantly changing set of concerns, has taken root.

"Liberals" gladly embrace the new intellectual orientation, since the supernatural is not an empirical basis for knowledge, they believe. Since an "experimental and a more practical methodology" has been in the ascendancy, religious "faith" has been left in the dustbin of history, reserved only for the "emotional, sentimental" side of life, for young children and old people nearing death.

This is certainly not my perspective. Knowledge comes both from empirical evidence and supernatural input from God. They cannot be separated without creating a certain "blindness" and a deficiency of knowledge, as God created it to be for us.

A closed-minded fundamentalist is what I believe that is on the same par as the radical nut case Islamic problem comes from, they are the biggest problem and it's because they are religious nuts. shallow and so stupid that they can not see the big picture, nor want to and they get tied up in brainwashing nonsense.

To me the Bible has a fundamental foundations that have roots in truth but If one claims that it's all to be taken in as all of it is only literally speaking, I think that they are nuts. clearly it's not all literally speaking and if you think it all is, I see that as a lack of intelligence not to mention such reeks of Carnal intent. example Jesus coming in the clouds ? that's figuratively speaking, he is coming in his majesty is what that means.

My fundy mate also claims that the English Bible KJV is Gods word, well yes to me such is, because I speak English but he is idolising such claiming that most of the world speaks English so English is Gods word, but on that point I see that stance as another brainwashing dribble.
English is only trying to interpret things and as such misses the mark somewhat at times but if you have a bit of a handle on Hebrew and Latin and Greek you have a better understanding on why they interpreted such in the way that they did, so it makes much more sense.

With the issue of HOW to deal with these SINNERS.... ( the homosexuals ... the drag queens... the transgenders and all others who fall into the LGBTQ spectrum )... I hear a lot a shouting about them... but not one person has ANSWERED the question of WHAT to do with these people in real life. What do we do with the lady who has had an abortion? What do we do with the person down the street from us who we KNOW is cheating on his wife?? Do we use a megaphone ... call them out and humiliate them?

I'm more concerned about dealing with the CHURCH that is already perverted....The Word of Faith/Prosperity false-gospel... These pastors who have for years taught absolute blasphemy and stolen millions of dollars from the poor.... yet no one seems to have a problem with that. They are all you see on Christian television. Then you have Sid Roth who has a plethora of guests from aliens to people who are able to see heaven and even get taken up on a daily basis. What kind of Christianity is all this I wonder?? Here in Canada... we also have the United Church... the minister is lesbian and they marry homosexual couples.... This is NOT Christianity... this is a group of people teaching REBELLION against God... plain and simple... There is NO new denomination forming as some are insisting... this is simply an OLD GAME of CHANGE the rules.
