The invisible church.then pray tell what is the one true church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles and their successors???
Amen to that oneThe invisible church.
The invisible church is the true church, which only God can see: born-again believers, past, present, and future. Because not everyone who attends church or performs religious deeds is saved, the visible church includes unbelievers. The invisible church is comprised of the redeemed and sealed by God.

Sorry kiddo....Scripture does not say faith produces good works. That is what you have been taught by your Protestant men over the last 500 years. If it said that I’m sure you would quote it. I’m going to throw another wrench in the theory your Protestant men have taught you: And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.Of course, true faith produces good work. It can't do otherwise. James also said if you keep the whole law, except one part, you are still guilty before God. Do you not see what is so obvious? James understood that we can never be justified by works but that they will flow from a heart of faith.
Goodness Renniks,No, your church says that we need to work for our salvation. Scripture does not. This is probably the most prevalent false teaching found both in Christianity and in every false religion and every cult in the world. It's why many will come before God and say "We did this for you! We did that for you!" And he will say "Depart from me, I never knew you." Because these people are the tares that Satan plants in the visible church. They have never been to the cross. They don't really believe they need the cross because they are still trying to work their way to God.
Yes, Abraham showed that he had faith by his actions and James says I will show you my faith by my actions. But those actions are the result of their faith not vice versa. The actions don't save them, they only demonstrate what already exists in them, a contrite heart of flesh.
Don't be a tare. Don't be proud of your accomplishments that only exist because of God's grace.
Sooooo since you know that the Catholic Church is apostate that means you must know which church isn’t.So says the apostate Catholic Church as they don't like competition.
You say the sinners prayer and...BAM.....your born again!!! Just like Scripture says....;)dare I ask? How do you become born again?
Fascinating!!! And where does Scripture say his Church will be invisible?? After all, how can it be invisible if we are to go to the Church to settle our differences (Matthew 18:17)??????The invisible church.

Romans11:6And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.Sorry kiddo....Scripture does not say faith produces good works. If one uses the language of the Bible then one would say that “a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law . . . not by faith alone . . . for faith apart from works is dead . . . The only thing that counts is faith working through love” (Rom. 3:28, Jas. 2:24, 26, Gal. 5:6).
Only works done from love matter. I never said true good works aren't rewarded. But you are trying to ignore what Scripture says... Many will do all manner of good work and never be saved. They think they are doing them for God, but really it's only for a reward. It's actually selfishness dressed up to look like faith.Goodness Renniks,
Once again your Protestant men have taught you wrong. When we do something for the least amongst us (which is our WORKS) He will not say “Depart from me”. He will say what you did for them you did for Me!! Your theory is opposite of what is taught in Matthew 25:31-46...Sorry to burst your bubble...Again!
And here we go again.
Partially quoting Scripture and taking it out of context does your argument no good. Abrahams actions were NOT a part of his faith. PLEASE read that entire passage in context. One can have all the faith in the world but faith can only be brought to completion by IT’S WORKS....Just like Scripture says. But that part of Scripture your Protestant teachers ignored and didn’t teach you since it doesn’t fit their theory...How sad.
I've been learning scripture all my life. You really aren't listening because you, like so many, think your sect is "it"... the chosen ones. You are picking out verses with no understanding. You want to believe all those pedophile priests in your church are part of God's true church? No, they are showing that they never knew him. People like that exist in every denomination. That's why I say the true church isn't any sect.Fascinating!!! And where does Scripture say his Church will be invisible?? After all, how can it be invisible if we are to go to the Church to settle our differences (Matthew 18:17)??????
See how just one passage destroys your theory??? I can give you more if you desire to learn Scripture??
Keeping it real...Mary
dare I ask? How do you become born again?
Illuminator, this is a pet peeve of mine, so I can't let it slip by... Calvin didn't the doctrine, and for the record, he didn't invent TULIP either. Its been years since I studied Calvin, and have forgotten much. However I distinctly remember that point.Christ never taught "Once Saved Always Saved", invented by John Calvin, a false teaching you accept.
Romans11:6And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.
That's exactly what you have been arguing against.
James says that a person's faith is perfected or completed by the kind of works that the faith produces. He shows that it is the kind of faith that Abraham had that made the real difference and brought about justification. Justification is entirely an act on God's part, but the kind of faith that brings about justification is the same kind that also brings about good works. It is not our works that save us, but only those who are "working" in the right way will be saved because their works will be indicative of what they truly believe in.
Now, not all works are plainly visible to everyone. In fact we are told to not boast about our good deeds.
Matt 6:1“Be careful not to perform your righteous acts before men to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
Jesus says a good tree will produce good fruit. The fruit is indicative of what kind of tree we are.
1The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like the other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. 12I fast twice a week and pay tithes of all that I acquire.’ 13But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’
I tell you, this man, rather than the Pharisee, went home justified. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”…
Such bad priests have automatically excommunicate themselves. It's a painful embarrassment. Scandal A.I've been learning scripture all my life.
