A simple truth is we vote politicians in to change and make laws.
As far as Trump is concerned, the evangelical / charismatic wing have endorsed his politics and his approach.

It is no surprise to me that those who take an odd theological view of Jesus also support Trump.
My criticism of Trump is very focused, it is on what is true and what is a lie.

One reason we rely on the authorities to establish what is true and what is not is because as people we cannot spend the time to find out.
When someone starts denying state, news and commentator conclusions regarding a fair and legal vote, things have gone very wrong.
The proposal is Trump is an honest truthful speaker pointing out the corruption of the swamp.

But like the miss handling of PPE, the need for ventilators, the precautions to avoid infection, saying sorry or I got it wrong seems impossible to do.

What I have respected about US presidents in the past is they represented a reasonable approach to life and government.
There were many reasons why certain things could not be done, but friends and enemies were clearly identified.

With Trump, Putin seems a friend and Nato an enemy. That was very peculiar. Withdrawal from the Paris agreement on climate change and undermining the Iranian nuclear deal again not helpful. Not trusting the FBI, CIA etc very odd, defaming sincere ambassadors not a good approach.

I am not embarrassed at all, because this is reality. What is an embarrassment is christians claiming Jesus wants them to support an obvious liar and fraud. I have dealt with salesmen all my life, and they look glossy on the surface but have no depth, it is all show. But hey, if thats the type of leader you want, who can overthrow legitimate elections by repeating lies and slander, then the US no longer stands for speaking the truth in love.
But then Kenneth Copeland and all the other prosperity gospel teachers lie from beginning to end, so no surprise there.

The forums are populated with 50% free gracers, where they hold a free ticket to heaven no matter how black and unresolved their hearts are.

There are some important issues at play here.
The first is the accusation that millions of votes were switched. That is a macro scale fraud. This is the most important accusation and one that is likely to affect the election.

There are local area frauds with introduced ballots, double entry ballots, putting through a tabulator machine ballots more than once etc.
Each one needs investigation and checking at the local scale and seeing if this adds up to a macro scale affect.

Having 20 witnesses and people saying the numbers do not add up, is actually a minute level of testimony, though serious if they have foundation.
The Dominion audit of the machines, came up with a very high error rate. Clearly this was a local issue, as you can see tabulators counting votes all over the place without these kind of errors.

When there are both republican and democrat administrators and poll watchers, if they do not report problems, then there are no problems.
We are 8 weeks on, and not one case is strong enough to make it to court, and Trumps team have scoured everywhere to find something.

It may appear to the TV watcher a van appearing at a counting place in the night means it is full of fake ballots, but that is just a wild accusation with no value. It could have been delivering food, supplies of the machines, support equipment etc. Evidence in court is not asking the accused to justify and explain something, but presenting evidence of why this was criminal activity.

Even worse than this, yes there will be democrats and republicans given the chance would commit fraud, but you have to show it for it to be real.
It is the difference between listening to honest people speaking the truth with evidence and listening to nutcases inventing stuff as they go along.

Take Trumps call to Rathenburger, he repeated claims that the internals of the machines were being removed and machines destroyed.
Repeating invented stories is not how one progresses with truth and justice.

Trump though has a strategy of doing this all the time,

Trump is your President. Does this mean if he is prosecuted and found guilty, are they your crimes also.
I have had a discussion with a forum member once who called me a liar. I wished to know what I had lied about, because if he could find nothing that was untruthful he was actually the liar. Ironically though he could find nothing, he would not withdraw the comments.

A lie is something that is not true. Trump lost the Presidential election. That is the truth. He can claim in the future he can show he won based on a corrected count, but that will only be true if he can achieve this. Until then he has lost.

A politician can hold to their opinion, but stating a lie, and then claiming others have fraudulently taken something away from one, is slander.
If they cannot prove their claim, either they stop repeating it as fact, and put it in terms of they believe, or they are a fraud and a liar.

Tomorrow is the confirmation of the election result. To overthrow this result will be a betrayal of the state and the election process. It will go from the ravings of a president who cannot lose, to the undermining of democracy in the US. This is power politics, the power of propoganda and conviction over facts and proof. Feudal Kings ruled by conviction, people lived or died on their whim. It is clear a large group of the US population are happy that whatever Trump feels is true is true, which is the feudal ruling of Kings or democracy where the system determines the result based on a counted ballot. Neither system is wrong or right, but the society chooses which they want. Cromwell had a chance at democracy, but fudged the issue and the King returned.
