and then if america erupts into civil chaos , that is when it could strike . It would probably choose a side , the liberal one
BUT , then just when they think they got it won , CHINA would quickly betray and turn on them

But its what i would do . I would wait , grow in power , and then when the enemy is at its weakest point , STRIKE .

The internet has made us realise our views belong to a culture which we may or may not agree with, and which others share or are antagonistic with. I was talking to my daughter yesterday about when we were young how respect was shown, by standing up when someone in authority appeared, of traditions relating to the national anthem, all authority figures, education and aspiration.

What was a matter of place and life and death has now shifted, the views on marriage, children, illness, parents, support and care have changed, so it has gone from you can starve to death to the state will step in and help.

With the outpouring of news, so full featured it is easy to be overwhelmed. There is no longer a single cultural or society response, we are now age, group, experience defined with our personal information feeds and sensitivities. There is no single belonging or talking to your neighbour and knowing the likely response.

So in this more complex views, we need education and the ability to filter and link information to facts. It is then we can begin to see the world as it is, and not be miss-led by political activists who only listen to one biased source of information. It is helpful to hear both sides and balance out the positions, because that is often where reality lies, on neither side.

The term Fake news, is itself fake, because if tries to suggest this is only real news or fake news, when in the same article there can be both elements from any journalist or speaker.

Take a biblical example, the fig tree that withered. Two versions of the story, it withered straight away, and it withered by the next day. Now both can be true, because they spoke of the observers perspective not objective fact. The tree withered, one noticed it straight away, probably a gardener, while the other saw it clearly the following day, like me who does not notice limp leaves etc.

Now you could suggest it proves the incident was false, two contradictory stories or valid personal testimonies. News is no different, but people who desire only their version, will rubbish all others, because the other versions speak of failure and weakness which the group are very scared of and do not want anyone to notice.

This is why dictators stop real journalism and the discussing of all perspectives while democracies thrive on it. It is our life blood, to hear it all, and filter out the dross and get to the facts. It is a joke, because the opposition always shout the people in power want to only tell their version, when they are failing so badly, and all these issues.... must be addressed, until the power changes and they are in power, and they want to restrict what is known and talked about. It is why we the people need this openness and discussion everywhere, it is our power and our freedom that is at stake.

I appreciate this post. And I understand what you are saying. But we have a disconnect when it comes to hearing both sides.
What fake news is, in relation to the fig tree analogy.. is there is NO fig tree.
It is propaganda used to incite people against each other.
Most news is all air, it has no substance to it. You read it, and you either believe it or you don't. It's that simple.
The ones controlling the narrative have a better chance at controlling the minds and moods of people that listen to them.

Real jouralism is being silenced. Has been for a long time. Censorship is real. Those who control what you read determine if it is worthy of being published. If it doesn't fit their narrative they label it as a conspiracy theory, or they "fact check" it and call it untrue if they can twist one line out of place. ie: I made 250,000 dollars last year. "Fact check" False. You made 249,999.99.
I see this everywhere. But when they want to "Fact check" their own, they will say "mostly true" .

It is this division they use against "us" the average people. Who are willing to compromise and adjust for the rounding up or down to a whole number. But they don't want you to think. They want to do your thinking for you.
That is why it is called FAKE NEWS.

Have you aactually seen the court documents? Read the judiciary findings? or are we just taking for granted what we are told is true?

I don't read or watch much news at all. I watch live feeds on FB and YT where people are on the street doing real time journalism.
Not those sitting in a comfy chair somewhere being told what to write to make us believe them.

You have a mind of your own.
You need to start using it.
And I don't mean YOU individually, I mean everyone has to learn to think for themselves.

Agreed.
As it is now with so much evidence beyond common sense, there are videos now and hundreds of witnesses that sign affidavits at the risk of losing their jobs, ridicule and physical attack. The communists are releasing information about where they live and where their children go to school.

If the Supreme Court does not rule on this our voting integrity will follow third world countries where who can cheat most wins. Literally supporting communism and corruption so Trump will have to take the next step.

Never before in history has a president faced off against such evil and communism so imbedded in our country. Democrats in the house and senate all voting for communism and evil. So no one can tell me there is such a thing as a good democrat politician.
Still no word from the FBI or the Post Master General. Police escorting Republican observers out of polling places...if there was a shred of honesty arrests would have already been made.

Texas AG Paxton Files Election Suit Against 4 Battleground States

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed suit on Tuesday against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, claiming the four states exploited the pandemic to justify ignoring election laws.

In papers filed with the U.S. Supreme Court, Paxton claimed the states unlawfully enacted last-minute changes, which skewed the results of the general election.

The papers also allege that the majority of the rushed decisions, made by local officials, were not approved by the state legislatures, thereby circumventing the Constitution.

“The battleground states flooded their people with unlawful ballot applications and ballots while ignoring statutory requirements as to how they were received, evaluated and counted,” according to a statement posted on the Texas attorney general’s website.

“Trust in the integrity of our election processes is sacrosanct and binds our citizenry and the States in this union together. Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin destroyed that trust and compromised the security and integrity of the 2020 election.

“The states violated statutes enacted by their duly elected legislatures, thereby violating the Constitution. By ignoring both state and federal law, these states have not only tainted the integrity of their own citizens’ vote, but of Texas and every other state that held lawful elections,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Their failure to abide by the rule of law casts a dark shadow of doubt over the outcome of the entire election. We now ask that the Supreme Court step in to correct this egregious error.”

In court papers, Paxton claimed ”unconstitutional changes opened the door to election irregularities in various forms" and that each of the four states “flagrantly violated constitutional rules governing the appointment of presidential electors.”

He asked the court to restrain the states from voting in the electoral college until it hears arguments in the case.
