Under normal circumstances, this would have been enough to disqualify Joe Biden as a presidential candidate. And there is much more that would also be grounds for disqualification, including the loss of his mental faculties. Both Bidens should have been locked up long ago, but once again we've seen that the FBI, AG and DOJ have proven themselves to be corrupt.

Oh - if they're guilty (which very much looks that way to me) - I really hope so! And I hope no silly million dollar fines either. If they're guilty - they along with those involved in Netflix's "Cuties" (if found guilty too) need to be spending JAIL TIME - just like the rest of us would if we were involved in the same thing with our small mum and dad shops - not some get out of jail free payment because they're rich.
Alas though - the world is wicked, and we continue to long and groan for justice. While i would love to see it dished out here - I take comfort that if the wicked win - it's only temporary and everything done in secret will be revealed and called for account in the end.

The FIRST TIME was back on Feb. 25th, 2020; and now the SECOND TIME on Oct. 12th, 2020. Perhaps Kamala shouldn't wait until November to take over the HARRIS/BIDEN Administration ...

Facebook and Twitter are still sending their CEO's to the Senate Judiciary council on Friday.
Their latest is to now edit posts they find offensive (pro republican) with warning labels... effectively selectively editing the posts.
That constitutes publishing...
That's not protected by their current status that protects them from lawsuits of discrimination, freedom of speech, and open market news status.
Also because of the changes without warning or vastly prior notice that also leaves room for federal election tampering charges.
And now this is one of the biggest stories on the internet...

This HAS been one of the biggest stories for quite a while! Social media has never been right-leaning, but became very decidedly left-leaning.

Ya know, back in the day they use to hang people for stealing horses...chickens too....but that is another story. The reason that they had such a harsh punishment, was because of the importance of horses to the livelihood of individuals and to society. As technology advances the internet becomes increasingly more important. So it is about time to address those issues now because they are going to have to address it eventually anyway. Then again there is nothing to prevent conservative forms of internet media. The easiest and quickest way to force the media giants to split up and share technology and give the conservatives a chance to setup sites like Facebook or Twitter, is to approach it from the monopoly statutes. Along the same lines of Ma Bell, where the equipment and property were split up. They have gotten so bold and drunk on power that they feel they have the authority to censor information from the President of the United States, it is time to take them down a few pegs.
Some conservative platforms, like Parler, have been created, but I think people are stuck in the old ones.

Personally, I think Facebook and Twitter have a right to decide what will be allowed on their social media site and what isn't allowed. A similar standard has been applied on this site and another example is Christian Forums. There are specific rules (TOS) of what is and isn't allowed to be posted on this site, as well as on Christian Forums. We are censored on this site to some extent and Christian Forums is even stricter. As a matter of fact, every social media site has its own specific TOS/rules that are to be followed or there will be consequences for violating their rules.
If Facebook/Instagram and Twitter had any REAL competition, what you’re saying would be valid. But these ultra-liberal platforms dominate the flow of information. You might be squawking about this if these platforms were ultra-conservative!

On the contrary, I've never complained or made a fuss about a social media site's rules. If I don't like the rules, then I will go somewhere else. I've joined other boards like this one in the past and I agreed to follow the established rules when I signed up for membership. As far as I was concerned, it was a matter of integrity for me to honor the established rules of the site that I agreed to follow when I first joined. I didn't make a public spectacle of myself by complaining about the rules I didn't like or I thought were unfair. If I had an unsolvable problem with the site, I left.

Yes, but those rules need to be applied unilaterally. The monopoly statutes cover that. You can effectively become a publisher by only allowing one sided of the story to be told and discrediting the other side. Once you are designated as a publisher you fall under a whole new set of legal liabilities.

They major legislation probably won't be written by Republicans. What are they talking about? This is another cheap theatrical stunt.
Maybe Lindsey Graham should investigate himself. He is so desperate to raise campaign funds, he seems willing to do almost anything.

And you notice that Twitter did not shutdown his account. That is why they will move foreword with Monopoly hearings and look into removing their Section 230 protection.
The problem is in the government protections that the companies receive, the jobs that are produced, and the platform they provide.
They are an open sourced news platform... meaning that anyone is allowed to report any news. (I got married to I don't like this cake)
But... unlike Christianity Board, they are supposed to allow everyone access. This board restrictions are understood and contractually agreed to before joining this site. (You did)

I think most people understand this; but there are some Republicans who apparently want to be able to dictate to Facebook and Twitter what they should do. They preach less government interference and control -- but we see that's not true. They are obviously trying to intimidate Facebook and Twitter into operating on behalf of Donald Trump. This is how Russia and China operate, isn't it?
But it is hot air at this point. The Senate can't pass legislation by itself. They'd need to get a bill that would pass the House also and signed by the President. If they think they can do that before the election, more power to them. After the election. they may not control either house in Congress or the White House. How are they going pass a law then? This is cheap theater.

They are basically becoming a "honey trap".
Attracting businesses to destroy them.
Also they have destroyed people's businesses.
Conservative talk programs requiring subscriptions are routinely shut down intermittently while Antifa and BLM and even those promoting rioting, violence, and looting are left unimpeded.
That's discrimination based upon political leanings and again not allowed.
The knife of freedom cuts both ways and they are about to find out the other side of that blade's edge.
Many are waiting for the opportunity to sue them.
Dump the stock if you own any...it's going to be very expensive for them.... tortious interference with a contract carries triple damages as punitive damages.
