Seriously, do you know of any sins that are attributed to Joseph? Do you believe that he ever sinned?

No. But he is never refereed to as favored one.Seriously, do you know of any sins that are attributed to him?
You are in error times 2....lol
You're missing my point. Just because the Bible doesn't say that Mary sinned doesn't mean that she didn't. And yes, she was very favored by the Lord, but because she had human parents, I believe that she was a sinner and that she did sin. I don't believed that "favored" means sinless.No. But he is never refereed to as favored one.
Sounds a little Calvinist. You can have whatever opinion you like, but that is only opinion. The Bible says we were chosen before the foundation of the world.
Ephesians 1:3-11English Standard Version (ESV)
Spiritual Blessings in Christ
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, 4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love 5 he predestined us[a] for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight 9 making known[b] to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,
Who said the thief on the cross was saved?
I disagree. You're missing my point. Just because the Bible doesn't say that Mary sinned doesn't mean that she didn't. And yes, she was very favored by the Lord, but because she had human parents, I believe that she was a sinner and that she did sin.
Sounds a little Calvinist.
I understand the scriptures and the story behind them.
All that is true. Straight from the Bible.Jesus did:
Luke 23:39-43
Christian Standard Bible
39 Then one of the criminals hanging there began to yell insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”
40 But the other answered, rebuking him: “Don’t you even fear God, since you are undergoing the same punishment? 41 We are punished justly, because we’re getting back what we deserve for the things we did, but this man has done nothing wrong.” 42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
43 And he said to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”
Well, you just committed the violation of being OFF TOPIC!I disagree.
But that is OK.
If God is doing the picking, He is likely to pick the most pure...without blemish.
Sin is a norm...most certainly under the 613 Mosaic Laws. In the Old Testament it was probably impossible to keep. In the New Testament period it was absolutely impossible to keep. Christ harvested during the Sabbath, that is a serious violation. It opens up more than one debate. For one the Bible mentions corn 8 times but it was not indigenous to that continent.
They do say that. Hands down! You call it Calvinist as much as like, but this is what scripture says.
Guilty as charged....Well, you just committed the violation of being OFF TOPIC!
Seriously, I have no doubt that Mary was one of the most pure women of her day, but not sinless. Jesus Christ is the only human ever BORN who was not conceived of Adam's corrupt seed since He was conceived of the Holy Spirit. Paul didn't say MOST have sinned, but ALL have sinned....
They do say that. Hands down!
But what is the story behind them.
You must hate your mother and father to be a disciple of Christ.....
Christ explained that the end would occur during their generation and all of the Apostles believed they were living in the last days, not month or even years....what is the story behind that?
lol That is what the Bible says....Who they said what? Slow down and post your complete thoughts. I can't respond otherwise.
All that is true. Straight from the Bible.
Still it does not say that the thief was saved or that they were going to Heaven.
Is it more important to lead a horse to water or the truth....would a horse know the truth....lol
The kingdom thing opens up a whole different topic.
lol That is what the Bible says....
You must hate your mother and father to be a disciple of Christ.....
Christ explained that the end would occur during their generation and all of the Apostles believed they were living in the last days, not month or even years....what is the story behind that?
their generation....the people He was talking to.
Guilty as charged....
But what is Paul saying when he says all have sinned?
And I do not see biblical support that Adam's seed was corrupt....in fact God Himself refers to the holy seed.
Death is the wages of sin....right?I believe the following verses show that sin was passed from Adam to all born after him. Through Adam, sin entered into the world.... If this is not the case, then how did we become sinners?
Romans 5:12-14--Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned— for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
Death is the wages of sin....right?
Adam's sin had an affect on all of us....we die! Mankind was judged.
But sin is not passed by human seed.
Babies who die do not go to Hell.
And again the topic of sin....like before and after the Mosaic Law and before and after a person is saved. A very deep theological topic.
