Thank you......Where in Scripture does it say that She died in Turkey?Good morning to you :) Last I heard, Mary died in turkey.

You're very welcome, friend. I'll take the bullet any time, lol!Thank you PW,
LOL....Thank you for taking that bullet. You are brave. I hope nobody goes after you for being honest.
The point about Jesus, Elijah and Moses is that he was communicating with dead people. If Scripture prohibits it then Jesus violated Scripture.
It doesn’t, it’s just that I knew someone who visited the house (would have been Ephesus) so, you make a good point. If it’s not in scripture, it’s out :) that includes Mary’s assumption tooThank you......Where in Scripture does it say that She died in Turkey?
Sooooo the question remains: Can Mary be added to that list? (Leaving the earth without any evidence of dying)It doesn’t, it’s just that I knew someone who visited the house (would have been Ephesus) so, you make a good point. If it’s not in scripture, it’s out :)
There are two major issues with this entire thread.
Second, the concept of the "immaculate conception" destroys one of the beauties of the gospel. The idea that Mary was miraculously delivered from "original sin"* in order to be "holy" enough to give birth to Jesus denies
that Jesus, as a human,
was as one of us.
He also was born with the same flesh
What He did have was the fleshly carnal nature of man which He had to contend with on a daily basis just as we do.
* children are born innocent
There is no scriptural evidence that mary left earth. We know Elijah did & Moses’ body Never recovered.Sooooo the question remains: Can Mary be added to that list? (Leaving the earth without any evidence of dying)
Mary
James 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for G_D cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.Denies the Truth.
Mary's Womb was Virgin, and perfectably Acceptable, TO God, for the "Son of man", to enter and come forth out from her Virgin Womb.
Agree, "as", in the Likeness "as".
Disagree. Mary and Joseph, were Jews, specifically, of the House of David.
I do not know ONE Gentile that Applies to Jesus, being "like us".
Every "us" human, I know is but a Body of dust, and returns to Dust.
Disagree.
* Humans BY Gods design, Are Bodies God Forms...From Dust of an Earth He created and Made.
* Jesus' Body is Never taught to Have been Formed from Dust of the Earth.
* Jesus' Body:
- Is Expressly taught:
* To have come been PREPARED by God.
* To have come forth out from God.
Heb 10:
[5] Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
John 16:
[27] For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
Carnal Nature? It is the Body out of Dust with a Natural mind that is Carnal.
^ That does Not Apply to Jesus.
Jesus did not NEED to BE a Human To Understand a Humans Needs, wants, suffering, joys.
Tempting Jesus?
"A Tempter" DID the Tempting.
That is What Satan Does...Tempts men with "offers".
Even men can be Tempters...Tempting God and other men with "offers".
God was Tempted by Tempters who were men...
The fact is God was angry with men for Tempting God, and told men, to lock it off.
Numbers 14:
[22] Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
Jesus' Lesson was two fold:
* Men will encounter Tempters
* Learn How Jesus Dealt with Tempters.
Disagree. Conception of Human children is effected in lust of a humans corrupt Flesh, and a corrupt man's seed fertilizing a corrupt human woman's egg.
They produce an offspring that is Against God.
How is this new born Earthly baby Against God?
Scripture answers this question..
Matt 12:
[30] He that is not with me is against me;
A newborn Earthly babe Neither Knows OF the Lord God, or Declares belief in Him.
Mary's Virgin Womb was sufficient for her to birth the "Son of man".
LOL-
Mary no more birthed the "Son of God", than Maryanne Trump birthed "the President of the United States"!
Glory to God,

I find it fascinating that God would have Elijah and Moses body go directly to heaven but the mother of His child has to stay here on earth.There is no scriptural evidence that mary left earth. We know Elijah did & Moses’ body Never recovered.
I was rc 20+ years ago :)I find it fascinating that God would have Elijah and Moses body go directly to heaven but the mother of His child has to stay here on earth.
Mary

Mary
Very funny :)What's even more fascinating is that our Christian friends were (apparently) there and saw all of it happen.
Very interesting!"Mary" had been known to appear to Muslims from time to time.
Christians pray to God. Not people.So praying to the mother of Jesus is the same as hiring a medium?
James 1:13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for G_D cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.
Correct:
God is not a Tempter.
Jesus' lesson by Example was HOW TO deal with a "Tempter"...so you DO NOT Fall for the "Tempter's" words designed to Be ...
Enticing, Tempting, words to Consider.
Jesus neither Considered, or Acted on the "Tempters" words...which is Exactly Jesus' teaching in HOW TO deal with a "Tempter."

Hokey lol. A woman once told me she saw Jesus. I asked what did He look like? She said fair hair blue eyes. I was like what?? hokey!.. I only ever had two dreams about Jesus since believing in Him, and I never saw His face. got the feeling I wasn’t supposed to either...Never seen mary or angels.Apparitions of the Virgin Mary
OP ^
Reported Appraritions of Mary are not all investigated, by the Catholic Church, are not condemned or upheld by the Catholic Church...
But rather are Recognized, by the Catholic Church as "private revelations", of the seer that makes the claim.
People who Trust to Believe a seer making the claim of an Apprarition of Mary, do so by their own choice to Trust a man's word, they do not know!
I'm curious how a man who Never Saw Mary, knows they are Seeing Mary...
LOL.
Hokey.

where in Scripture did anyone pray to mary ?Thank you......Where in Scripture does it say that She died in Turkey?
True, apart from what is writtenThere is no evidence that:
Enoch, Elijah, Moses, Mary or any other Earthly man of Dust Bodily went to Heaven.
