Hi, as a staunch Conservative Fundamentalist, please allow me a few words of rebuttal:A Fundamentalist worst nightmare...confessing their sin in the light. (In public)
Fundamentalist will not dare bring their sins into the light! The rest of us will! There is a lot of self-righteous fundamentalist on the Christianity Boards. I love you all, but you are in error...you value the Law over the Love of Christ. For all those who do not claim to be fundamentalist and instead worship the love of God, his mercy, his grace and UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, post something you are guilty of. This post is for Christians only. I'm not scared in the least to bring my sins into the light. Only Fundamentalist do not do that. Don't keep your sins in darkness where the evil one will get a foothold.
Ps. Watch the fundamentalist, they will start posting scripture for defense. Because they are perfect. They have no sins.
I'll take the lead. In My Present:
These may not necessarily break the Law of the 10 Commandments and our Lord will convict me in his time, not your time.
1 I like to drink a few Nyquils before bed when I have a cold/flu (Yikes it has alcohol)
2. I am selfish at times
3. I love the taste of Copenhagen
4. I'm guilty of being obsessed with Jesus Christ as my Savior. (Oops, that is not a sin)
5. I eat PIZZA, WHICH IS SO UNHEALTHY! (Doesn't do the Temple of God well, the body)
By the way, I just ate a pizza at 09/27/2019, 1230am eastern time...5lbs overweight (teardrops)
6. Sometimes I get angry and say mean things to my spouse.
7. Sometimes I make promises i do not keep.
8. I sometimes put my boat before God (this makes me very sad)
No one is Perfect. Well Fundamentalist are....sigh
These definitely break the the law of the 10 commandments!
In my past (while I was still a Christian) I was Guilty of:
1. Adultery
2. Coveting
3. I think I stole a pen from work.
4. I'm sure there were more
I have repented of all these! And only God knows if I will get weak and fall flat on my face again.
Like I said, the Fundamentalist will try and use Law to minimize this post, they are perfect and self-righteous. I will take this back when they admit they are not perfect by naming something they are guilty of?
This is the Real Point "I worship a God Of Love, Not The Law"
"I'm still on that narrow road, and Our Lord is changing me into his Christ Like Image/Mind!"
The Fundamentalist still haven't listed a sin they are guilty of! They worship the Law and are to FULL OF PRIDE to confess. I practice humility and humbleness. I confess all! (private and public) Search my Heart Lord so that I can Confess. Please Humble those in this forum, that they may confess also. Please destroy their self righteous pride.

Fundamentalists know we are saved by grace but judged by works because works - or the lack thereof - are the evidence for whether we are truly saved by grace. (Ephesians 2:8-10 KJV)
Non-Fundamentalists believe the fatal deception that grace is a license to continue in sin.

Fundamentalists recognize the shame of our weaknesses apart from Christ, but focus instead on uniting our weakness with His strength to overcome sin which is available to anyone and everyone who chooses to take hold of it. (Romans 6:14-16 KJV)
Non-fundamentalists believe the fatal deception that being proud of one's weaknesses - for which they do not pray, fast, or plead to overcome - affords them a cloak of humility which they vainly seek as a substitute for Christ's Robe of Righteousness.

Fundamentalists know that Christ came to "save His people from their sin". (Matthew 1:21 KJV)
Non-fundamentalists believe the fatal deception that Christ came to same them in their sin.

Fundamentalists know that the Ten Commandments "stand fast forever and ever" and are the standard by which we will be judged. (Psalms 111:7-8 KJV; James 2:10-12 KJV)
Non-fundamentalists believe the fatal deception that "freedom in Christ" is a license to break them.

Fundamentalists know that we can never receive by dead faith that which can only be received by living faith: eternal life. (James 2:17-18 KJV)
Non-fundamentals believe the fatal deception that they may receive by dead faith that which can only be received by living faith: eternal life.

Would you go to a doctor who rejects the fundamentals of medicine? Or a mechanic who rejects the fundamentals of automotive technology? Or an investor who rejects the fundamentals of finance? But, so many today reject the Fundamentalist Bible preacher and flock to Non-fundamentalist, emergent church false prophets to have their itchy ears scratched, their oil changed for blown engine, and their money multiplied by men who do nothing but "fleece the flock". How sad.
