This is NOT Helen. We are still in the battle. It has been three weeks now.
She has had a bad day and her faith is low at the moment. She has an appointment for the doctor for next Monday and also an appointment next Wednesday at a special kind of chiropractor. Not one who pops bones but a type of pressure behind the ear.

She did not want to do either of these and was sure that the verses God gave her about rest, being still, and waiting on the Lord would bring forth good fruit. I know Abraham waiting 25 years for Isaac it was a long test. But at our age we don't have 25 years of the road left ahead!
And the last three weeks for Helen have been misery with a headache all the time.
She wants to thank you for your prayers as do I.

Well , this is me this time, not Dave.

THANK YOU ALL for such lovely posts , it was such a blessing to know that we had prayer backing.

I am not back to full speed yet..and have a way to go.
Screen's still bother me quite a bit..
Still no answers ...but God is a strong tower and place of refuge.

I have to admit I did not stay strong all the way through
A few nights I totally wigged-out and panicked. In the dead of night my mind kept on saying " what is this?" "Why is this?"
And obviously the devil was faithful to send images of being on the operating table with them drilling into my head!! He never misses a chance.

"weeping may endure for a night , but joy cometh in the morning"

Pretty much the days are way way better now...going to bed seems to kick it in again...and the first few hours after I get up.
I've had a different pillow. Tried sleeping sitting up with three pillows.
Tried sleep on one side. Tried sleeping on the other side. Tried sleeping on my back..( which is the least bothersome.)
I even got a new mattress.
God only knows. ( and He doesn't seem to be telling)
Maybe it is nothing more than a satanic attack.
I don't even bother wasting time trying to solve it any more.

Monday I am going to tell the doctor all about it.
Wednesday I am going to the Spine clinic. ( NUCCA) like a chiropractor without bone manipulation ...they use some kind of pressure behind the ear. ( One of my daughters wants me to go just in case it is a nerve in my neck that can be released. )

So my dear friends..."Watch this space"

Is our old friend @bbyrd009 back here yet?
Not sure how many weeks it is yet.
He was a naughty boy and got a suspension.

Folks...we may see much arguing on this site, but I can tell you...after being off of it for so many weeks, the members nucleus of this site are awesome , every one of you counts and means to much.

That neck nerve could be the thing. I've got one that pinches, and I've cataloged a whole array of symptoms. Still praying!

These ole bodies of ours were meant to wear out, and the older I get, the more I experience it. BUT!!! God will give us new bodies that will never age :) We'll be able to jump, run, dance as much as we want without pain!!! ❤

I cant believe I am still here !!!!!!! My family all passed away in there 70's and I am 83 and
still here..... My husband also is gone...... which of course I miss so very much !
I am older then him........ by a few months..... So I felt I was going home first..
Surprise !!!!!! I thought my girl friend who is a year younger then I ,,, maybe she is not
saved ??????? but to me it seems like it..... the catholic church we grew up in did not
help me ? But I see she still belongs, and seems to be ? My son said he does not think so ?
But , I just do not know.......... I have know her since we were four and five years old.
She went to the public school and I went to the catholic school......
Confession never made me feel good ? So I guess I was not saved ?

There are many Catholics in my neighborhood, I know many of them. Some, are obviously Catholic in name only and do not do the things Jesus commanded us, nor do they know anything about the bible...lot's of Protestants like this too. Then, I consider a few of my friends who are Catholic and they truly KNOW Jesus so, when all is said and done, only God knows our hearts and I would say only he himself knows for sure who is and who is not saved? I'm sorry for the loss of your family, my best friend for 43 years had lost her last sibling a year ago, she takes grief very hard. She will be 70 next year and was placed into assisted living as she has dementia. Just at the mention of her sisters and her brother who have passed, will bring tears to her eyes every time so, I try not to talk about them. She feels all alone in the world. Her and I came to the Lord together in 1992 and she came full force to Him...I will say that she was the closest thing to a "mentor" in the Lord to me. Now, she does not remember so much but, prayer always pulls her out of the doldrums. You hang on Grams, we are never alone as Jesus is right by your side and loves you soooooo much ❤

Yep ! I got saved in my 50's........ did not get saved going to the C.Church.
They never had us use the bible, only the prayer book and rosary !
The same thing , over again.
Just a plain bible church. And now I read the bible.
Never did being catholic. And my girl friend does not even own a bible.
To me she sounded saved, but I let my family read her letter to me and they all said
it does not sound like it. So I will have to sneak things into my letters to her.
I guess ?
I have not seen her in over 40 years...... we talked on the phone for a while, and then
she had her husband and son die, and we seemed to loose it..... Now we are letter writing
So ....... ?
