I do think that a huge proportion of Christian women in North America would wear pants, fairly often. (Whatever strict religious groups might try to tell them...)They all wore dresses back then didn't they?
But I think this is more talking about simething like transgender. Which is WOW! Even that is in the Bible.

Part of misunderstanding scriptures is not knowing how to study appropriately. We all are learning and grow at different paces in our spiritual walks. When I became a Christian at 15, I read in the OT not to eat pork and I only lasted a week. Then I ate pork chops, and felt bad for awhile. it was so good
That said, I have to admit I do not dive into the OT all that much. But I do believe it is correct that God was talking about something different then just clothes. In 1 Samuel, it says that man look at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart. I think clothes are a part of that outward appearance. Just like David's brothers.

Uh, in Bible days, men wore what we would consider "dresses" today. I don't think "pants" had even been invented yet.

@Mayflower Romans 14 is all about Christian liberty... :)
I think that the whole area of whether women should wear pants, or get tattooed; or men get ears pierced, etc., is covered by Romans 14 Christian liberty... :)I thought it was about a dress.
