It's hard to convey an idea that is a challenge without seeming to have a higher tone than we are in fact using at times. It all depends on how we perceive it was said.

So if a person writes..."what's wrong with you?!" .... it could be taken as an attack if spoken harshly..or a genuine concern spoken gently. Such is the difficulty of writing posts without the body language! :)

No I did not mean that...what I was meaning was, Jesus was born of Mary, flesh. Therefore He had within him humanity so He had the potential of committing sin. Therefore His victory over it was greater.

If ( as some believe) He could NOT sin, then there was no contest and and no victory of the Last 'Adam' over sin. Old Adam , in a way, had the victory over his tempter in the Last Adam.

God always wins. And we will see that glory at the very end. God wins.

If He was tempted, and He was...he HAD to have the propensity to sin as, if he did NOT then, He wouldn't have said that He suffered and was tempted in all the ways we are. Yes, God does ALWAYS win ♥

I just don't expect say...you, epi, or Amadeus, or Helen, or Nancy, to come at me with the same debating technique as....say, p4t. I used to slip into to it. I'd answer with their mode of speaking because it was just how everyone spoke in debates. But I abhor the accepted mode. I won't do it.it's not the Helen I know for her to speak in that mode to me when we are having a discussion. I won't answer that mode of speaking. I'm not angry or upset, I just won't do it.

But nobody is eternally saved until their life here is over. A race is never determined during the race. Judge nothing before the time.

However, the bible speaks of entering into an eternal life right now. This is the eternal kind of life. That is entering and experiencing the life of Jesus Christ by abiding in Him. He IS the life.

Now most people know little or nothing of life on THAT level...these confuse a future hope and the salvation in a future time with a living faith at this time in the experience of victory by the power of the life to come.

Kind of entering into God's eternal life (Jesus Christ-or Christ Life) while yet living in "time"?
