see, you have changed the parameters here, by changing the perspective to what i am called to do, rather than what i can choose to do. The law works two ways, and i am not under the law until i choose the law to be on my side in a dispute.

You are using a hair splitting deffinition of what it means to obey the law and it is one view if any law enforcement officals would consider.

To give an extreme eg. If you went to Saudia Arabia and where stupid enough to drink alchol in public, while also loudly insulting islam. There would be no question by the authorities about does the law apply to this foriegner. You would be arrested, charged, tried, found guilty and punished.
For breaking the laws of the land.

The problem with islam is it makes no distinction between secular and religous. Sharia is both a religous law and a secular law, it cannot be amended and this is one reason why many islamic states do not enforce sharia law, they want laws that can be adjusted.

actually in my experience they are separated, but i guess there are exceptions, Saudi Arabia, Iran, the more extreme ends of the spectrum iow. So Sharia is also individually defined, i guess. i was only ever exposed to the moderate kind i guess. And we can even observe Muslims revolting at the more extreme kinds

that is a diff deal imo, cultures have been mixed there; boundary stones have been moved, so to speak. London was complicit in the destruction of their homeland, so imo London is getting what it paid for i guess. How is it separated if the religion of Islam imposes civil laws on its believers?

I don't quite get that.
I know that there are no go zones in London where even British Police do not enter. This is not acceptable in a civilized country that does not claim to me Muslim.

well, where Sharia is voluntary--which is pretty much everywhere, exceptions already noted--no law is imposed; one agrees to abide by the decision beforehand. Pretty much like arbitration i guess, or at least how arbitration should be. Strangely enough, to a westerner at least, grace seems to have grown out of Sharia, for Muslims, despite the perceived focus on rights and retribution.

i'm still not real comfortable living around Muslims, but really they are just like anybody else in my experience. The differences are laughably miniscule imo

Yes, I remember when my wife's youngest brother was murdered in East Palo Alto, CA. When we went to the police station to try to find out what was happening, we were told that we would probably never know, because the police did not at the time make any routine patrols in that area at all because it was too dangerous. Even murder investigations were minimalized. Their advice was to stay clear of it. It was given over to drugs, prostitution and any other illegal activities one could name. The police only went in there when something blatant like her brother's murder came to their attention. Then they went in large numbers and armed to the teeth. That occurred about 30 or 40 years ago. We have heard that the area has been cleaned up since then. If it has I sure other similar areas have taken its place.

Not only London the north of England is even worse!!
Not much gets reported , it gets hushed. But, we know that is the name of the game...and stupid people put their head in the sand..they don't want to know..they's rather live happy today and not think about tomorrow.
The governments are selling out our countries, and fast.

Actually I stayed with my husband’s relatives and we took trips all around town, including the parts that I suspect you might want to declare as NoGo Zones and that my husband declares the best parts for a good curry. I don’t cover my hair and like my Jeans tight, yet none of the many Muslims there seemed to take offense.

London has indeed faced many terrorist attacks, be it from the IRA or Islamist extremists. And Londoners always answered them in the one way you answer terrorism if you don’t want to let terrorism reach its goals: keep calm and carry on.

Well, I sure hope that I’m in the camp of those who are willing to get killed for their love of humanity. Because that’s the camp that Jesus Christ is in and He told us to take up our cross and follow Him.

Nope, I’m a very average German Protestant. And while I don’t agree with our Chancellor on very many issues I tipped my hat to her when she decided to open our borders when faced with a humanitarian crisis: that was a pastor’s daughter’s conscience speaking.
