Its crazy how a Calvinist, is led to believe the worst about God, and thereby they are happy to blame God for all the wrong, the bad, the harmful, the hateful.. that happens in this world.
Personally I'm not interested in Calvinism. I stick with the SPIRIT of God and what He says to me. For me it's that simple.

Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

It doesn't say that in the verse.

There is no "TO BE Tempted"... there is no "for the purpose of being tempted by the Devil".

It says that Jesus was led of the Spirit, into the Wilderness.........and then another verse says that Jesus was Tempted.

There are 2 KJV, that are authorized.

The 2nd is the one we have now......and what they did, was......they "spell checked" it, and changed some of the spelling of words, but nevrer did they touch a verse, in a way that changed it theologically or doctrinally.

And it did originally have the Apocrypha in it.
That was a massive change, removing 14 books. As some would say, it was a removal of 17.5% of God's word.

Well, the reason they removed these "books" is because of the content.
It didnt continure the linarity of the narrative of the other 66 Books.
Its obvious that some of it, or most of it, is just very false and even pagan.......as the writers of some of it, were probably not even Christians.

Who decided on what particular books or parts of books were to be left in or simply removed?

You're not being honest.

LK 4:2 does not say "TO BE Tempted".

What the KJV says, and other bible versions say = is that Jesus WAS tempted, but they dont say.. He was led "TO BE" Tempted.

Who knew these writers and their relationship with Christ? And if they were being carried along by the Spirit or not as they wrote down what they did?

Here is how to not worry about that..

"God will preserve His word".........so, the reason that 2000 Yrs later,, subsequent to The Cross, we only have 66 Books in the Bible, and not others along with it, is because "God will preserve His word".

You're lying.
And that is why you can't quote a version that says "to be tempted".

I can quote 20 versions for you, and none of them say.... "TO BE Tempted"/.......Including the KJV...

What they say, is.............in one verse.......... "Jesus was Led".....and then in another verse, they say......."and was tempted of the Devil".

Just look at the KJV, and notice that it explains that Jesus was tempted, but it does not say that He was led there, into the wilderness, "TO BE" tempted, = as you keep misquoting, to suit your false theology @One 2 question

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

I don't doubt God can preserve His Word, every word that comes from His mouth that we are to live by. And most of these words are not contained in the 80 or 66 books of the bibles of course.
