Trump is not a theologian, not even close to a Bible thumper layman - we all know this. But a child can believe in Jesus on a basic level. So yes he is an infant believer.
You are right that salvation is not merited ... " not by works". He isn't claiming good works though, he is claiming faith.
And btw, faith on God, His Word and the Holy Spirit, make you holy. God makes us better, good. Wouldn't you classify Christians as good rather than evil? We are good because we have received grace, a free gift of faith, salvation. Positionally we are good - not that we earn are way, but this goodness passes on into eternity - evil doesn't.
As Holy Week begins, President Trump invokes divine purpose — linking faith, survival, and destiny in a presidency shaped by a missed bullet.

Christians, believers that Jesus died for our sins, was burired and rose on the third day, are all on different levels of spiritual knowledge and discernment. As we look at a child, we would consider him clueless about life, nevertheless God could change him into a Billy Graham or John MacArthur.
Btw, who do you revere as a brilliant teacher/ leader, of Christian theology?
Those who are lost, do not believe in Jesus. You seem to attack the Body of Christ unjustly. The Body is governed by Christ and so His sheep are secure. We are either His sheep or not. Don't worry about the Body, it is intact, whoever is in his schedule to he saved, will and whoever He had in mind to save, have been. His plan is perfect, the remnant is precise.
There are Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus atheists and all sorts who are lost - focus on them instead of worrying about Christianity.

Sounds pretty impressive to me. What have you accomplished in the name of Jesus Christ? Oh ... a self appointed Church critic in an online Christian forum? Whoop-di-do. Well done good and faithful servant!
