Yes there is unfortunately. That is why we are told to test everything and test the spirits. People sometimes mistake the Holy Spirit for an evil spirit or
Once Born Again, an evil spirit cannot enter the spirit of Gods child....the enemy can only attack our mind ...that is why we are called for the renewing of our minds..to think like Christ...the enemy doesn’t seem to bother me much at the moment....he knows I’m on to him, Praise God.

We only recognise our Fathers voice and flee from that of a strangers.
mistake an evil spirit for the Holy Spirit.
Sorry, I don’t agree....there is NO mistaking the Spirit Of God...when the Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are the children of God.

I was Born Of The Spirit 33 years ago..the Spirit is permanently in my spirit, always testifying to my spirit that I am Gods spirit child, mind Blowing.

I have NEVER doubted my supernatural faith that God gifted me, when the Spirit gave birth to my spirit...Spirit gives birth to spirit....reason being, faith comes from God and once we are Born Of The Spirit...our faith will grow and grow....we will become more like Jesus and we will bear his fruit...

No one can separate us from the Spirit/ Love Of God...His Living testimony is the most powerful of all...

Many unbelievers talk or hear from evil spirits. Born again from above, Holy Spirit filled Christians recognize those evil spirits easily. Go out on the street and preach Jesus, you will find people with angry evil spirits trying shut you up. Notice I said angry. I've seen it first-hand. They walk among us.

Ephesians 3:19-21
To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, 21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Yes, I've seen "angry" too.

Believers can be deceived and influenced by the devil too. That is why we are well-warned in scripture.

This is the expected response from those who refuse to face the facts.

Do you defend biblical inerrancy?

[
All translations are not inerrant, some can't even truthfully be called translations but are misleading paraphrases of men. But God's truth is certainly inerrant and He has preserved that in older translations. I sure don't trust "translations" that are produced in a time of apostasy when the foundations of the faith are being removed and truth is being thrown to the ground, when good is called evil and evil good, and people think they know better than God. That's why I prefer older translations where the translators have tried to be faithful and sincere to actually translate faithfully word for word as much as is possible translating from one language to another......instead of being so arrogant against the Lord as to mess with the words and add or take away from them. Ultimately it comes down to the person and the Lord........who truly loves the truth as opposed to who prefers to believe untruths for flesh and self-serving reasons of their own. God is still revealing truth to babes and hiding it from the wise and learned.

Does that mean that you believe that some Bible translations are inerrant?
I suppose that would be a matter of opinion?
Biblical Inerrancy is not a provable claim. IMHO
Even when applied to the original autographs (manuscripts) that no longer exist.
All we have is copies of copies of copies of copies...
Which are littered with textual variants. (scribal errors)

To what SINGLE Bible translation would inerrancy apply?
Would there even be consensus on which one?

Christians need to stop deifying the Bible.

If you were a Jewish family just having kids. Your Father in Law has the name Jacob. Would you name one of your children Jacob or James? There is no James in the Old Testament. In fact, there is not a James in the entire bible. Jacob in Hebrew, translates Jacob into Greek, and into English. So why the use of James in the new testament and not Jacob. I know the commons answers, and the translators do know this.

James or Jacob in the Bible?

But, there is no mistaking the voice of the Spirit to our spirit.....even if we never ever read a Bible again, we know in our heart/ spirit that we are the children of God.
The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children....Spirit gives birth to spirit.....Flesh gave birth to flesh.
Praise His Holy Name!..
Well said. For some of us who have for a large and growing part have been living on and by the direct words of God testify that it is not only possible to just survive on His Spirit communicating with our spirit, but we have grown and are being brought to new levels of maturity bearing increased quality and quantity of the fruit of the character of Jesus our Head Who we are directly attached to. This connection and unity is fantastic. With the 2 part glue that bonds us together being His Spirit and mine.

I find the challenge being not hearing the Spirit as much as believing the Spirit, trusting the Spirit to carry out His part and resisting the temptation to, of myself, try to do what He says.

For those who use the bibles as the portal through which they receive revelation from God, God bless them. Yet for those who by the Spirit receive direct revelation I say God bless you too.

It's not a competition to defeat one another but it is a time in history that we need to encourage one another to hear our God and obey Him no matter the means He chooses to use.

Holy Spirit will tell you what is the right way and give knowledge to those who seek it.
Even if the bibles were flawless and we could hear the Spirit communicate with our spirit directly, we will be proned to interpret what is said incorrectly from time to time.

My trust is in my God to get His point across. For we are going out of our way to pursue His words, every word that comes out of His mouth and every thought that He conjures up in His mind.

Yet when i was spiritually dead, pursuing anything but God and His words, He made sure He got His point across to me.

How much easier is it for God now that we ask and seek after Him, His thoughts and words.

Which bible translation? Is it one of the copywrite for profit bibles, in which words and phrases are purposely changed to make a "new work" to enable a copywrite. Do you know the Critical texts are actually corrupt? The latest Greek update in critical text is version 28. Yep, it has changed 28 times. Is there any bible translation that hasn't been updated? Those are the Critical text bibles that keep updating.

This is what St. Steven is talking about.
IOW, you don't like the Christian Bible. Just like STV!

If you hear the audible voice of the Holy Spirit tell you what you seek, there is no incorrect interpretation. God cannot lie. You have a problem if you think so. I have conversions with the Holy Spirit, sometimes I have to ask for clarification, which the Holy Spirit will answer.

No. A wake-up call for ignorant Christians.

You worship the Bible as if it is God.
Yet you have no idea where it came from.

Did you know that the original autographs (manuscripts) are gone?

Here's the oldest known copy fragment of the Gospel of John.

Your opinions do not overrule our Bible! Even tho you try to convince others.
