Yes it does
For the first improper entry offense, the person can be fined (as a criminal penalty), or imprisoned for up to six months, or both.
It is a criminal offense, on the first entry, you said it wasn’t
Stop being dishonest

Yea you didn't read your own article.

Now, you responded to a post of mine where I addressed @Debp's assertion that Rev. Budde painted all immigrants as doing no harm, and pointed out that she actually said, "The vast majority of immigrants are not criminals", which isn't remotely the same. Do you understand that it isn't?

Evidently you didn’t read it or your own post and now you’re making yourself look foolish
You said
Being in the United States without legal documentation is a civil offense. Illegal immigration is not a criminal offense in the United States unless the immigrant has been deported and re-entered without persmission.
Not true.

@RLT63 Thanks for joining in. But I think we have a broken record playing.

Then, tell your friend to answer the question. You also need to answer it by the way. Is it a hard question for you two to answer or something?

From the article
Whether it's by crossing the U.S. border with a "coyote" or buying a fake U.S. passport, a foreign national who enters the U.S. illegally can be both convicted of a crime and held responsible for a civil violation under the U.S. immigration laws. Illegal entry also carries consequences for anyone who might later attempt to apply for a green card or other immigration benefit.

The penalties and consequences get progressively more severe if a person enters the United States illegally more than once, or enters illegally after a final order of removal(deportation) or after having been convicted of an aggravated felony.

Now stop lying, The first entry is a crime punishable by a fine, 6 months in jail or both

Again, you're not quoting anything that negates what I said, because while an illegal first entry into the United States is considered a crime under federal law (specifically 8 U.S.C. § 1325), it is classified as a misdemeanor and does not automatically make someone a "criminal" in the sense of having a criminal record.

You don't use the Preacher's podium to lecture a sitting president [...]

Yes, you can. And, Trump is not only a sitting president, but a self-proclaimed Christian. If he's not speaking or acting the way a Christian should, it's her duty as God's minister on earth to remind him of His Word, especially when he's a leader. And, if he's truly a Christian, he should heed His ministers and cling to what is good.

Yeah, you made one point, then you started lying

Yes it does, a misdemeanor is a crime and goes on your record. Even traffic tickets go on your record. Have you ever applied for a job?
Now you’re trying to change what you said. Stop lying

No, most traffic tickets are not criminal offenses. However, some traffic violations can be considered criminal offenses, such as reckless driving or driving under the influence (DUI).

I quoted the part of your post that was the answer to my question. If you didn't want me to respond to your answer to my question then why did you answer it?
You didn’t respond to the rest of it. Here’s my question: Why are you lying?
