My grand dad, John Lee Winkler, holding me a month or so after my birth on August 6th, 1944. Does that date in 1945 bring up any historical significance?

John was an old time pioneer commercial fisherman and fiddle player. Aren't people's lives so very interesting?

It so easy to see what it means when it was written , this life is but a vapor .
I bet ol john lee winkler was born in even the eighteenhundreds if not early early nineteen hundreds .
Lives come and go . BUT ALL WHOSE HOPE TRUST and FAITH BE IN JESUS THE CHRIST , shall never die . eternal life .

Black wolf. He was much darker that this old photo shows. I've seen very large wolves in our river bottoms. VERY large. I love the out of doors.

Lone Mountain school, Lone Mountain Tennessee ca 1912. Found this old photo which actually has several Jennings family members in it. They emigrated to Fannin County Texas and formed families there where I was born.

The youngest child in that photo was probably born around nineteen hundred and seven .
If even the youngest was still alive he or she would be one hundred and eighteen . Life comes life goes
but all whose faith be in CHRIST JESUS shall never truly die . all the saints will one day be singing forever
with the LORD who saved us and all the brethren throughout all ages . I like to see real old pictures .
I have a real old bible too .
