Just remember it's better for him and you.I brought my male Tabby home from the Vet after he was neutered. Once he was fully recovered from the Anesthesia he left his travel box and hopped up on the couch.
I'm watching from time to time to see if he's OK as he continues to heal. So there he is grooming himself. And when he finishes with his tail he moves down to his backside. After a few licks he stops,looks up, and rolls his head back to stare at me for a few minutes.
If he could talk I'm certain he'd have said, where'd you put my bits?
I felt so guilty.
