Before the Scripture can be fulfilled, there must be people who will fulfill it.

The Temple described by Ezekiel will not appear by itself. Someone must first make plans, blueprints, construction documents, collect money for construction, obtain permission from the authorities. Then, when the Temple is built, everyone will say: look, the Scripture has come true, the Temple was built exactly as described in the Bible.

The city described by Ezekiel in the 48th chapter will also not appear by itself. People who gather in Israel will build this city. When this city is built, everyone will say: look, the Scripture has come true. Events in the rest of the world will confirm this: humanity will abandon wars, wealth and deception will cease to be attractive, righteousness will be in demand.

You quote the Scripture about the New Jerusalem, but this New Jerusalem cannot appear without the construction of the Third Temple. This New Jerusalem will not come down from heaven without the construction of the city of Yahweh Shammah. Because the New Jerusalem is not a material city, but a city in the hearts of believers.

When the disciples learned of Jesus' resurrection on Nisan 16, the New Jerusalem was restored in their hearts. When we now see the building of the Third Temple, our hearts will rejoice because the word of God will be fulfilled before our eyes. When the believing Jews and Christians build the city of Yahweh Shammah in Israel, our inner state will be called "in heaven." From these inner heavens, where we will rejoice over the fulfillment of the word of God, a hail of talented words will fall upon the carnal Christians in the denominations:

Do you want to stay where you are now? That is your right. I know from God that I must participate in the construction of the Temple and must live among my people, among the tribes of Israel. I will fulfill what God has put in me, fulfill the word of God about the Third Temple.

The city is not built by the whole Church, but only by a part of it - the Smyrna Church of Revelation.

The eastern gate of the Temple will not be entered by the whole Church, but only by a part of it - the Philadelphia Church of Revelation.

The whole Church will not be caught up to the Lord, but only by a part of the believers from the other 5 churches of Revelation, only the "wise virgins" who will "shine" by fulfilling the commandments of Christ now, when the cry of the coming of the Bridegroom is heard.

For my part, the Lord has shown me that Israel will rebuild the temple and it will lead to the son of perdition (false messiah/antichrist - an earthly ruler) and warned me of a very strong deception associated with it. I'm afraid many Hebrew roots believers and other Christians who will rejoice in a brick and mortar temple will be particularly susceptible to it. And in truth we all could be.......if it were possible it would deceive the very elect. You are absolutely right when you think that building the Temple will be a terrible temptation for many. But think also about how terrible the temptation for the Jews in the 1st century was the First Coming of Jesus Christ. Every Jew knew from childhood that God is NOT a man. And suddenly a man appears whom we must consider the Son of God. At the same time, all the leaders, rabbis and scribes, deny that Jesus is the Messiah. What was it like for a simple Jew to go against all the leaders? Excommunication from the synagogue meant exile, loss of property, and possibly death.

But now the situation has become symmetrical for testing Christians. God DELIBERATELY made Christian leaders reject the possibility of building the Third Temple. And God DELIBERATELY will make Jewish leaders this time accept the idea of building the Temple, described in Ezekiel:

In that day, saith the Lord, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the Lord of hosts their God.
(Zechariah 12:4:5)

Here, the “inhabitants of Jerusalem” are the inhabitants not of the earthly, but of the Heavenly Jerusalem, who believe in Jesus Christ.

I can list for you many temptations that will be for Christians.

1. Why is God returning the material Temple, is this not apostasy?
2. Why will there be animal sacrifices in the Temple? Do we need any more sacrifices after the Sacrifice of Christ?
3. Who are these people who will enter the eastern gate of the Temple? Maybe they are false Christs and false prophets? Why should we go somewhere to Christ in the Judean desert, did He not tell us that we should not run to where they will say that Christ is there?
4. Why do those who entered the eastern gate circumcise themselves? Doesn't this violate what is said in Galatians 5:2?
5. Why will one man sit in the inner hall of the eastern gate, opposite the Temple? Will this not be the "man of sin" in God's Temple?
6. Why is the fire on the altar lit by the sun's rays reflected from a concave mirror located on the top of the Tabernacle, isn't this "he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men" - Revelation 13:13?

To answer these questions correctly, a Christian needs to have personal contact with God, have the spirit of truth, receive personal answers from God, and God can only answer if a person has no idols before Him.

If a Christian does not understand that the "man of sin" can sit in the "temple of the living God," if a person is already sure that his Christian denomination is sinless because it is written that "the gates of hell shall not prevail" against the Church, then he will look for the "man of sin" in the Third Temple. Such a Christian confuses his denomination with the Church, not understanding that there is a difference between the nominal religious structure and the spiritual structure of the Body of Christ.

Also, many Christians do not realize that the Law of Moses was never abolished for the Jews. The fact that Jewish communities in Christianity disappeared in the first centuries of Christianity made Christians forget that the apostles themselves visited the Temple and never taught against the Temple and against the decrees of the Law of Moses. The Gentile Christians still had the Sermon on the Mount of Jesus Christ, which in its demands on us exceeded the demands of the Law of Moses, so the Gentiles had something to do, working on themselves.

Christ has His glorified body right now today and for the last 2000 years.
He won't be getting a different one, will not be flesh and blood ever again.
We will be getting the same kind of body he has right now.

Flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of God

1 Cor 15

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption. 43 It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory.
