Are We Nuts?

People are lining up again without a single thought as to what happened before the immature young fool tried yo murder the 45th president. I have no sympathy for his family but the world must learn that they do not deserve misery and we might never know the truth. If you, like I, are going to vote for President Trump, please, can we not be shooting and P---ing off those gun-toting Democrat Socialists?

I don't presume to know what his family deserves. We are presuming they are innocent, against doubts to the contrary.

You said "I have no sympathy for his family" so you apparently think they are guilty along with their son.

Until it's proven the boy's family was in on the plot, normal people would consider them to be innocent and would have some compassion for them during this time.

We reap what we sow, so if you sow no compassion you will get no compassion coming back at'cha

Just something to think about... or not. Whatever.

Disturbing thread.

What are you talking about? On the contrary, I think people are thinking deeply about what happened leading up to the assassination attempt, especially those who line up to support Trump at rallies. The day of the shooting a commenter noted an amazing thing. No one in the crowd took cover, implying they'd take a bullet for the MAGA leader. That is uncommon loyalty.

This is what we, the land of the free and the home of the brave do; carry on despite knowing full well liberty has inherent risks but we value liberty more than life itself, which makes the risks well worth it.

I have no sympathy for his family

Why don't you have sympathy for his family?

please, can we not be shooting and P---ing off those gun-toting Democrat Socialists?
No.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Thomas Jefferson

Are We Nuts?

No. We are a society nearing the end of its life cycle. It is those who are NOT lining up in support of President Trump and brave enough to risk P---ing off those gun-toting Democrat Socialists that are nuts! This is because if you do not stand up for your rights in the face of oppression, then you don't have rights. This is what democracy in action and standing up for liberty looks like.

So it's too bad the early church in the Book of Acts failed to do this....???

Odd that we aren't quoiting what the Lord says... weird.

Where did the Lord instruct His people to shed blood to save the nation?
Is this where we are supposed to go out and start a civil war or something if Trump is not re-elected???

The Gospel comes before the nation and with most who claim to be christians putting Trump before the Lord... well, that's a problem for the Lord as this is idolatry

Not weird at all. If the subject was physics, I'd quote physicists.

Foolish man. The Lord did not instruct us to brush our teeth either. If you don't want to participate in the political process then don't. But it is foolish to attempt to distract those who do.

Jesus was a subject. We are citizens. It means we have civic responsibilities, as well as liberties not enjoyed in Jesus' day.

i think voting for a president- a master- a ruler, as a christian is considered idolatry, as statism is very cult-like
Exodus 20:3
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."

especially- since the ones on top are all demonworshippers and abusers of children- and im not saying this about trump specifically, or biden specifically- im pointing at all of them. one big family that goes to worship a supposedly foreign religion in the middle east as well, strong ties to undoubtedly wicked and satanworshipping folks

so.. "are we nuts?"
as christian, and idolater- i would say yes!

Just FYI, I did eight years of military service, including three tours in combat. I've been there and lived with certain death. How his parents choose to deal with their dead offspring is none of my business and I feel for my friend's families because their sons died for freedom and I do not know where this creep learned it was normal for lefties to snipe people he did not support. And you want to jump on me like 40 lbs. of stink on half an ounce of fecal matter over some lefties family?

And backing that thought:

It is not idolatry to provide, care for, nor to protect our family and/or our nation. There are a lot of Socialist Democrat nuts out there but they are not Christians loving their families, friends and, others enogh to want what is best for them.

One cannot be a christian, and an idolater at the same time.

If a christian becomes an idolater they have turned away from the Lord and are no longer in right standing with Him.

They must turn away from their idolatry, confess their sin to the Lord asking for forgiveness before they can be in right standing with the Lord once again..

Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I never heard such an absurd thing. No one worships their public servants.
well- i would say for a start, war is not christian- and every single president has allowed war
supporting something antichristian- is not being christian
and theres a lot more controversy i could point at
i would say, ive spoken to satanists that were less evil than those who are in power
