They have a product called waterless car wash. I guess you spray it on wipe it off and you don’t need to rinse it. Those that disobey Acts 2:38 are the modernist waterless car wash salvation salesmen … Lol.
Well, I'm happy to know you believe in water baptism.
The Apostles taught it,,,,
those they taught, taught it, and so forth.

This is knows as Apostolic succession and it cannot be denied.
You shouldn't hate the CC so much....it destroyed false teachings after Jesus death and even while John was still alive
and if it weren't for the Early Christians, we wouldn't be here.

They also assembled the New Testament BTW.

And I'm not Catholic.
Knowing some history helps.....

No hate for the RCC folks at all. I used to be RCC. I am now a first century apostolic. All I do is make sure people understand that the RCC is fake news and the great whore of the book of Revelations . Hopefully that does not offend them.

Have you ever seen an actual document from those ancient church fathers? Or do you take somebody else’s word that they exist? Just think for a minute, the original scriptural manuscripts have disintegrated and all we have is copies and copies of copies.
So, with that in mind, you think that the writings of the so-called church fathers have Existed longer than the original manuscripts, or are they copies and copies of copies?
Were they copied perfectly like the scriptures were? You need to think about the things you believe.
So do we have copies of copies - you've been listening to Bart Ehrmann too much --
OR
were the scriptures perfectly copied?
Make up your mind !

The Early Fathers.....
I'm not being mean....
You should read what they wrote.
We DO have the actual writings....
Give me a subject and I'll tell you what they thought about it.
Maybe baptism....

This is from Justin Martyr. Who was taught by Irenaeus. Who was taught by Polycarp and John.
There's earlier writings, but I don't have the time....

I will also relate the manner in which we dedicated ourselves to God when we had been made new through Christ; lest, if we omit this, we seem to be unfair in the explanation we are making. As many as are persuaded and believe that what we teach and say is true, and undertake to be able to live accordingly, are instructed to pray and to entreat God with fasting, for the remission of their sins that are past, we praying and fasting with them. Then they are brought by us where there is water, and are regenerated in the same manner in which we were ourselves regenerated. For, in the name of God, the Father and Lord of the universe, and of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, they then receive the washing with water. For Christ also said, Except ye be born again, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven [John 3:5]. Now, that it is impossible for those who have once been born to enter into their mothers’ wombs, is manifest to all. And how those who have sinned and repent shall escape their sins, is declared by Isaiah the prophet, as I wrote above, he thus speaks: Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from your souls; learn to do well; judge the fatherless, and plead for the widow: and come and let us reason together, saith the Lord. And though your sins be as scarlet, I will make them white like wool; and though they be as crimson, I will make them white as snow. But if ye refuse and rebel, the sword shall devour you: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it [Isaiah 1:16-20]

These first through fourth century “early Church fathers“ writings are fake tricks that the Roman Catholic Church has invented to create a trail of succession to try to act like they were promoted by the apostles. Nobody has seen these documents. Folks in modern times quote them from the Internet. They have not been preserved. Because they were fake. They are more recent than you realize.
You guys have them in some monastery somewhere?
Have they been carbonated, etc.?
Are there special scribes in these monasteries that preserve their word also?

RIght.
But JESUS said:
In the NAME OF The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

This is a FORM for baptizing....it's HOW the person is to be baptized.

The Father is not named nor is the Holy Spirit....
and so the OFFICE of the Son is mentioned....not His name by which He's called.

It makes sense Truther.
We have to follow the instructions that Jesus left for us.

Don’t you guys see how messed up you all are? Don’t you guys see why Martin Luther said sola scriptura?
This commentary stuff is madness and it is taken over Christianity.
Nobody reads their Bible only anymore. They are consumed with mass commentary. It is clear to see even on this thread.

You should be happy Truther.
The ECFs CONFIRM the bible....
and THEY, in the 4th century, assembled the very book you speak of respecting and obeying.

Who do YOU believe put together the New Testament?

Is this writing an original from 1800 years ago, or was it perfectly preserved on ancient paper by scholars? Tell me more about it history OK?

This is what you guys look like. You guys slice and dice the Bible with fake fathers and fake Greek redefinitions. What a mess.

No wonder Christianity is completely turned on its head. There’s 1000 different truths in Christianity today. And they all beg to differ.

I can clobber anybody scripturally with Bible only. I can’t compete with commentary, though, there’s too much of it. People poke each other in the eye with commentary all day long and never understand the truth.

I am OK with history, Josephus, etc., etc. It must be taken with a grain of salt. It is not perfect. Not even close. It’s a bunch of people with the opinions written whenever and nobody knows exactly when. It cannot be used in arguments to bolster the scripture. The scripture stands alone and needs no recommendation from extra biblical writers.
Just look at all of us arguing over our opinions of the scripture. Now you know who these so-called ancient writers or early church fathers were. A bunch of guys arguing.

Here is what Paul said about men who we call church fathers that would be preceding him.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

You guys are just quoting the Wolfpack.
