In the day and age in which we live... those that don't possess the love of the Truth (God's Word) will very likely be falling in to grievous sin of one kind or another.
This is especially true for Christians because the devil is always out to pervert people and turn them away from the Lord back in to sinful living... which is why the false doctrine of OSAS is so beneficial to the devil.
OSAS gets people to believe they are still saved even if they get in to sinful behavior.

1 Timothy 4:1,2

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron
("depart from the faith" is not referring to sinners in the world who never came to faith in the first place)

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (See 1 John 5:3 AND 2 John 1:6)
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
