1. Mainly how not to come to certain conclusions.
2. That some times the answer is "that we do not know."

The main focus of the NT is the path to salvation, the rest is an extremely abreveated storyline.
The personal facts about Yeshua, from the point of Yeshua's conception and His family is addressed in generallities that bring up more questions than answers.
That is not to say that speculations are a bad thing, or that opinions are a bad thing, but they never make it out of that context to the resolution of proof.
