Yes...are you implying that Lazarus was a Gentile? Not so. The gospels were written in Greek. And Greek was commonly spoken by the Jews in Israel at that time....Greek was the dominant culture back then from what I understand.
Epi is correct, you could benefit from some salv.

Dont believe that lizbeth .
If epi was right and was a prophet
why does he DENY PROPHECY ITSELF .
The SPIRIT of PROPHECY is ......................THE TESTIMONY OF JESUS CHRIST .
And i dont see epi pointing folks to faith in HIM . Rather he believes all paths are fine as long as we
earn our way to heaven through this other love and social gospel good works .

I no longer know him after the flesh!
If you believe in what EPI teaches
then my question now is , DID YOU EVER TRULY KNOW CHRIST .
PS , remember when JESUS said HE would SEND the SPIRIT to them .
DO REMEMBER what JESUS said about the SPIRIT . AND HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME , HE SHALL REMIND
you of all THINGS i have said and taught . DOES YOUR SPIRIT DO THAT . THEN , BAD NEWS IT AINT THE HOLY ONE .

It sounds like that was you before you truly came to faith in Christ. It isn't everybody.

That parable warns and exhorts, that's what it does. Nothing more, nothing less. And Jesus hadn't yet died on the cross when He spoke it. To the Jew first it would have been a warning about keeping the Law and the spirit of it.....just being a descendant of Abraham was not to be taken as a guarantee of salvation. And then to the Gentile we can take it as a warning about needing to show the fruits of repentance and of knowing Christ (eg, it agrees with teachings such as faith w/o works is dead, not storing up treasures on earth, and the last will be first, etc).

But maybe overall the lesson can be seen to be this: under the Law, God promised prosperity and health to Israel if they kept the Law, so Jews assumed that those who were doing well in life must be more acceptable to God personally than those who were poor and sick. That's why some were assuming there must be personal sin involved as a reason for the blind man being born blind, either his sin or his parents'. Jesus came along and began pulling the rug out from under that belief and attitude. This parable corrects that wrong attitude, for both Jew and Gentile....because that unfortunately is also an attitude that self-righteous believing Gentiles can have as well.
I can see what you mean about condemnation. Where you said it is “a warning” (did I understand that correctly?) like the parables were a warning also. But there is the ministration of condemnation. Which had glory. But there is a ministration that excels in Glory; the ministration of the Spirit. Which are we under and of…is the question I have?

To me you nailed it. The warning being a self-righteous attitude…excluding the gentiles. You hinted at sadly the same self-righteous attitude the gentiles have as well. If that is indeed the condemnation then to me the warning is “He tore down” “removed” the partition wall between” making of two …One. But that isn’t what the parable warns about “who repaired the breech” …instead the parable is to boast who is on the right side and who is on the wrong. To me, or at least in my opinion…the parable is said to promote self-righteousness instead of demolishing it where…the warning was about self-Righteousness. If that is the warning…the condemnation…then is the heart of the parable is Christ has repaired, restored, healed, removed? That wall. he has healed the breech. Or is it about those on the left and those on the right? This coming from a church that says “it is a free gift guys”.

What do you suppose the exhortation is?

Yes . more christains are needed in it . My dear sisters mother was in a home .
She was not treated good . Some of them working in that place
supported certain sins , and her dear mother was a God loving and fearing woman . She wasnt always
treated so well by those folks . In some of those places they are so about the money
that they hire as little people as they can and thus everyone is so worn out and tired
and the poor eldery dont have great care either . Its sad .
But i do have good news . Her mother is in a far better place now . a place that all the lambs do look forward too .
PRAISE be to the glorious LORD . FOR IN JESUS CHRIST ALONE , those who believe in HIM
have a wonderful home awaiting them . SOLEY SAVED by grace through faith in CHRIST . Let that get said till the last and
final breath . SOLEY SAVED by GRACE through FAITH IN CHRIST . A GIFT . Come one and come all
to the ONLY ONE WHO CAN SAVE , CHRIST JESUS the GLORIOUS RISEN KING and SAVOIR .
Praise the Lord. My mum is with the LORD. One day very soon, the remaining lambs on earth will also be with the LORD.
