The modern church represents the fallen nature...no need to repent. In fact, it is the ego that is being boosted in so many modern ministries.

Instead of…. telling her to repent and turn to God. Isn’t this the same as a legalistic church telling her she must change first. When change is “to repent”. To me the legalistic church is not saying change but keep your own ways and build upon them.

There was a time I attacked epi too. So I’m not a cult follower of his. I viewed him when he came here as selling some garbage of promoting himself. That was my perspective. But now these are some things I consider. The blame that he doesn’t quote or read the word. Ever. Is that true? Because that confuses me because often times he sees things in the word that are not regurgitated mens doctrines. I remember reading once something he shared about the walls of Jericho. Goliath and David (to name a few). So to be honest; it seems insane to blame someone for not reading the word when …maybe they are more intimate with the word than those reading and quoting what men have told them the word says. Another that I think of is Byrd here. I’ve read him be called a Muslim too. Or having a connection. I’ve read him called all kinds of names. But the way Byrd reads the word is will fresh eyes, not following other mens doctrines. He has been kicked off so many times for making people mad. I remember once he wrote a post to a member about coming to kill and and take your children…something like that. Who he wrote too became angry and assumed he was threatening to come kill his children. The one he had said this too was spinning yelling “He just threatened me and my family!” Growling “come in over here buddy.” I didn’t see it that way, I still do not believe it had anything to do with the guys family…but instead Byrd was talking about religion. A wake up call. Point is…there are others on the board who read the word trying to get untangled from mens doctrines. Would I rather go sit with them even if others are saying they are the ones spouting the enemies doctrines. Absolutely. I would go sit with epi at the table.

And you would be welcome to sup with us anytime! :) See I am bold on these threads to strengthen the inner man in people...giving them courage and hope...to resist the death that man-made religion brings. In Christ is life everlasting.

The outer man is easily twice as strong as the inner man in a given person. What happens when you build up the outer man with religion is that the part that God wants to save....the inner man...is totally "buried" like the talent in the parable.

Jesus said that hypocrites go to great lengths to convert people to their ideas...but is so doing make them worse than before. Jesus puts it in an even starker tone. I don't have to see any more about it since judgment is coming quickly.

I am simply reflecting the love that Jesus had for the Pharisees. They sought to steal God's love for what God rejects...the outer man.

Yes, and there is no mention of the part JESUS played in the new birth. The feeling I get is like something floating on air without a solid foundation. The first ten minutes sounds like New Age rather than Christianity and it makes me want to ask the speaker what he thinks the difference is between New Age and the gospel. There is an emphasis on something called "eternal consciousness" throughout the video as if that is the salient point of being born again, which makes the message man-centred, when it should be Christ-centred. The point of being born again is that our sins have been forgiven and we have been reconciled to the FATHER through the blood of CHRIST and have been born anew of HIM as new creatures, into HIS family as children of God, receiving the spirit of adoption! We have been awakened into an awareness of a PERSON whose name is Jesus the Christ! Any message on being born again needs to be rooted and grounded in HIM, one would think. Jesus is practically absent from the message, except a couple of almost peripheral mentions of Christ later on, instead of being at the centre of the message.

I don't hate Muslims....I was just sharing my discernment of that dream. It didn't feel right. Did God give you any scripture to go along with it? Did you wait on Him to understand what it meant? When I have a dream or vision, the Lord generally gives me scripture to confirm it or show what it meant.
