Eph 2:8 refers to redemption and rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (Not by faith alone)

Do you not understand that English is a translation of the Greek, and the Greek makes a distinction which the English does not?its Peter!
Satan was speaking thru Peter he did not say I rebuke you Peter!
Jesus changed simon’s name to Peter signifying an office!
did Christ give the keys of jurisdictional authority to a confession? Or to the person of the apostle Peter?
did a confession miraculously catch a fish with a coin in its mouth to pay the temple tax for both Christ and Peter identifying them as one in Matt 17:27 Or did the person of the apostle Peter?
Did a confession stand up in acts 1 and quote the Old Testament and appoint Mathias as an apostle? Or did the person of the apostle Peter?
Did a confession give the first sermon in acts 2? Or did the person of the apostle Peter?
did a man in acts 3:6 receive a miracle thru a confession? Or did the person of the apostle Peter?
Did a man in acts 5:5 fall dead at the feet of a confession? Or to the person of the apostle Peter?
did a confession preach the necessity of baptismal regeneration in acts 2:38-39 and 1 pet 3:20-21?
Or did the person of the apostle Peter?
Basically, Paul is saying we cannot earn our way to heaven. Nothing we do, nothing we can be, nothing we say can convince God to accept us...He has already accepted us in Christ, all we have to do is believe it. After belief comes obedience, yet even obedience is impossible without faith, "for without faith it is impossible to please God", and "without Me ye can do nothing".you and whatever you mean by saved according to eph 2:8
Wrong. Peter himself says the only ones able to interpret Scripture are the authors of Scripture itself:only the church can interpret scripture
the child is Jesus
The woman is not his bride (church) but his mother d therefore our spiritual mother rev 12:17 Jn 19:26
You are correct, they are one law, literally one word. Yet they are different commands, even promises if you believe. Thou shalt not becomes a promise rather than an injunction. The whole content is in ex 20 but it don’t say this is the first
This is the second etc.
The "man child" is to "rule all nations with a rod of iron" and was "caught up to God and to His throne" - only One fulfills that description ;)Interesting. I never heard that before. Where can I reference that?
Six percent, DB. Didn't you get the memo? The problem is NOT far worse in mainstream Protestantism which looks nothing like the CENTRALIZED GLOBAL CHILD RAPING COTTAGE INDUSTRY headquartered in the Vatican and overseen by the Pope. And, according to insurance and FBI statistics as recorded in the book, Pedophiles and Priests, by PROTESTANT author, Philip Jenkins – the problem is FAR WORSE in your Protestant circles.
It’s obvious that you HAVEN’T done your homework– and you are outgunned here . . .

The nature of pride always says no I will not serve, like the father of pride! I decide truth for myself! Pride always protests and lives in a continuous state of rebellion
You are contradicting yourself here. First you say correctly, that "prophecy is not to be interpreted privately', (that we can't decide truth for ourselves), then declare that the only source of truth is man. That the man belongs to a church is irrelevant. He's still a man deciding on your behalf what is truth and what isn't. You have committed your eternal destiny to the whims and fancies of sinners no better than yourself.only the church can interpret scripture

Those traditions that non Catholics keep for the most part were inherited from Rome. I say non Catholic, because there are very few who profess to be protestants these days, and even less who actually are. Both have traditionally man made traditions that are kept.

Do you not understand that English is a translation of the Greek, and the Greek makes a distinction which the English does not?
The Greek has FOUR words for the English word "love". And, Jesus said, "Thou art PETROS, and upon this PETRA I will build My church" - which makes "PETER THE PETROS" distinct from the "PETRA" to which Jesus is pointing - which is the thing Peter confessed - that Christ is the Son of the Living God!
Get it? The church is built upon "Christ, the Son of the Living God". Still don't believe me? Read 1 Corinthians 3:11 KJV. Read Ephesians 2:20 KJV. Peter isn't the "Rock" - he was at the time a little pebble tossed about to and fro upon which NO SANE MAN would try to build anything. Speaking of the "SANE MAN", allow me to quote from Spurgeon:
"It is the bounden duty of every Christian to pray against Antichrist, and as to what Antichrist is, NO SANE MAN ought to raise the question: if it be not the POPERY in the CHURCH OF ROME there is nothing in the world that can be called by that name."
Basically, Paul is saying we cannot earn our way to heaven. Nothing we do, nothing we can be, nothing we say can convince God to accept us...He has already accepted us in Christ, all we have to do is believe it. After belief comes obedience, yet even obedience is impossible without faith, "for without faith it is impossible to please God", and "without Me ye can do nothing".
So all things are by grace and the power, faithfulness, and mercy of God through His Son Jesus, and we can make none of the promises apply to us unless we believe them... Faith. Faith is believing what God says. That's the gospel. It's really quite simple. Forsake the old life, repent of our sins, accept and believe and trust in God's forgiveness, and rely on Him to instill in you the hunger, the thirst for righteousness, and the passion and love for truth. In response to your faith, God bless you with a new heart and a new mindset... The mind of Christ. You become a new creation. Born again. And you may have then the assurance of eternal life, of you abide in Him and return not to your former carnal sinful fleshly selfish life.
Wrong. Peter himself says the only ones able to interpret Scripture are the authors of Scripture itself:
thats what I said the church!
The church existed before the New Testament and exercised authority of Christ and wrote the scriptures and says what is and what is not scripture!
Ever read Dan 13?
2 Peter 1:20-21 KJV
[20] Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
[21] For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Now, if you have any "Scripture" authored by your Roman Catholic counterparts, I guess you can ask them what their interpretation of it is...but when it comes to "Sola Scriptura", hands off, bro ;)
Actually Moses wasn't a Jew, but a levite and a descendant of Heber. The word Jew refers to the descendants of the kingdom of Judah, the tribe of Judah, the Benjamites, and those levites that remained after the fall and deportation of the Northern Kingdom. So, you're not only a pagan, but unfamiliar with the historical records of scripture.Lol....Yup, clearly I am a pagan since I stated the fact that Jews wrote the OT. To be honest with you, that is the first question I ask people to determine if they are pagan OR not: Do you think Jews wrote the OT? If they answer NO...then they are clearly pagan.
Well, sounds like we agree. Moses (who was a Jew), with inspiration from the Holy Spirit, wrote some books of the OT.
You are correct, they are one law, literally one word. Yet they are different commands, even promises if you believe. Thou shalt not becomes a promise rather than an injunction.
But if you agree that they are one law, what right did your church have to change the 4yh Commandment from the 7th day to the 1st? Where is the biblical mandate giving man the power and authority to change the very laws of God and written in stone, Jesus Himself declaring that He didn't come to change the law but to meet all it's requirements... To fulfill all righteousness,?
KJV Romans 11:3-6
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
KJV Romans 10:1-11
1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.
3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
