Oohhh, here we go again. Since when has my performance been the benchmark for validation as to whether or not scripture is truth? Do you believe the scriptures?
KJV Ephesians 1:3-23
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead,
and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

KJV Ephesians 3:14-21
14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

How does anything I do, or don't do, validate the truth of the above?
Of course I believe the scriptures. I just don’t believe the SDA gospel.

Yet you deny we are saved. and thereby deny Him as your Savior. Where is the Good News of Jesus Christ? Where is the joy of your salvation?

No. He wants me to trust Him to help me follow Him. That is obeying the gospel that God is going to do this. He started His work and we are to have confidence in Him to finish it to His glory. That is why it is written that the just shall live by faith.

His commandments exceeds and surpasses the Old Covenant commandments for why the Old Covenant waxes and vanishes away because they are no longer necessary for obtaining salvation for we are saved. Now we look to him to help us follow Him because His commandments are higher than the works of the law that the Jews could not do at all and so we can't by the religious flesh either in doing the best we can, but He can help us to follow Him for why all our hopes are on Him and not on us.
Obeying the 10 Commandments is called abiding in Him and His Ways. If we abide in Him, He will abide in us.

If we don't abide in Him, we get this:
John 15:2
John 15:6

SDA’s make the same claim, but what you actually do is mix the old and new covenants together and fail to rightly divide the word of truth and the end result is a perverted gospel of “salvation by grace plus law, faith plus works.”
Obeying the Commandments is not works salvation, as you and so many others misunderstand. It is the bare minimum required to be saved because it is how God Himself lives. His Son Jesus displayed this for all to see.
John 15:10
Jesus did not display works salvation. He led by example and obeyed all of the Law of God, the 10 Commandments.

If one has the Holy Spirit of God living within Him, it is what the Spirit demands and they will be deeply convicted when they break any of the Commandments or else the Spirit will not abide in them.

Yet one of the ten commandments is keeping the sabbath. That is not a commandment repeated under the New Covenant unlike the others.

So either stop referring to the ten commandments when one is about observing the sabbath or address the edification for why we are guiltless for profaning the sabbath as to what is different under the New Covenant which is we are saved.

I leave God to help you see the truth in His words for how you are opposing yourself by your words.
The Sabbath is repeated 59 times in the NT. You and most others refuse to see, and completely ignore that FACT.

Jesus obeyed it as well as all of His disciples and Paul honored it many times in the NT. There was never a need to repeat a command of it in the NT because there exists no command to repeal it.

Observing the Lord's Day is not disobeying God's Commandments but honoring Christ's resurrection while observing the Christian Sabbath.
I never made that claim but you're repeatedly perverting scripture by making the term Lord's Day mean Sunday. Isaiah 58:13 as well as Genesis 2:2-3 make God's unbreakable claim about what the Truth of that term means.

And the Christian Sabbath is the only Sabbath. The Sabbath instituted by God in the above verses.

There is no sunday sabbath.

“The counterfeit Gospel is out there. What is the other Gospel? It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's Law (10 commandments) from the Cross. It is a Gospel that tries to separate God's 10 commandments from the plan of salvation. God’s Law has always been part of the true Gospel of Christ. The counterfeit Gospel does not have it. God's forever Law (the 10 commandments) is the foundation of both the Old and the New Covenant and the very foundation and basis of the true Gospel of Christ.”
Now you're understanding. This is exactly what Jesus stood for and displayed with His life.

Obeying the commandments as the basis or means of either obtaining and/or maintaining salvation certainly is works salvation. It’s you who misunderstands.

Wrong.

Nobody in this entire thread has made that claim. You and all your ilk resort to making that type of absurd false accusation when you can't overcome the main thrust of a thread.

The title of the thread is 'The 10 Commandments are FOREVER.'

That FACT has been proven ad nauseum in this thread and stands firm.

Clearly you have a problem with Jesus Christ.

You really should take that up with Him before it's too late.

Sunday being the Lord's Day has been well established for a very long time. So you are the one perverting the truth. GotQuestions has given you the answer.
What is the Lord’s day?

ANSWER

The Lord’s day (as distinguished from the day of the Lord) is Sunday. The term Lord’s day is used only once in Scripture. Revelation 1:10 says, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet.” Since the apostle John does not elaborate on the meaning of “Lord’s day,” we can assume that his target audience, first-century Christians, were already familiar with the expression.

Some have assumed that the Lord’s day is the New Testament equivalent of the Sabbath. The Sabbath day was instituted by God for the nation of Israel to commemorate His deliverance of them from Egypt (Deuteronomy 5:15). Sabbath began Friday at sunset and ended Saturday at sunset and was to be a day of complete rest from all labor, symbolic of the Creator’s resting on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2–3; Exodus 20:11; 23:12). The Sabbath was a special sign to the Israelites that they had been set apart as followers of the most High God. Their keeping of the Sabbath would help distinguish them from the nations around them. However, nowhere in Scripture is the Sabbath ever referred to as the Lord’s day. The term Sabbath was still in use within the Jewish community in New Testament times and is referred to as such by Jesus and the apostles (Matthew 12:5; John 7:23; Colossians 2:16).

Sunday was the day that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, an act that forever separated Christianity from any other religion (John 20:1). Since that time, believers have gathered on the first day of the week to celebrate His victory over sin and death (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 16:2). Even though the Sabbath day was designated by God as a holy day, Jesus demonstrated that He was Lord over the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8). Jesus stated that He had come not to abolish but to fulfill the whole Law. Rule-keeping could not justify anyone; only through Jesus could sinful humanity be declared righteous (Romans 3:28). Paul echoes this truth in Colossians 2:16–17 when he writes, “Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.”

The Lord’s day is typically thought of as Sunday, but it is not a direct counterpart to the Jewish Sabbath—in other words, Sunday is not the “Christian Sabbath.”
[Note: this is incorrect since rest, worship, and good works are for both days] Although we should set aside a day for rest and honoring the Lord who died and rose for us, we are not under the Law (Romans 6:14–15). As born-again followers of Jesus, we are free to worship Him on any day that our conscience determines. Romans 14 gives clear explanation of how Christians are to navigate those subtle gray areas of discipleship. Verses 4 and 5 say, “One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.”

Some Messianic Jews want to continue regarding the Sabbath day as holy because of their Jewish heritage. Some Gentile Christians join their Jewish brothers and sisters in keeping the Sabbath as a way to honor God. Worshiping God on the Sabbath is acceptable—again, the day of the week is not the most important issue—but the heart motivation behind that choice is crucial. If legalism or law-keeping motivates the choice to observe the Sabbath, then that choice is not made from a right heart condition (Galatians 5:4). When our hearts are pure before the Lord, we are free to worship Him on Saturday (the Sabbath) or Sunday (the Lord’s day). God is equally pleased with both.

Jesus warned against legalism when He quoted Isaiah the prophet: “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules” (Matthew 15:8–9; cf. Isaiah 29:13). God is not interested in our keeping of rituals, rules, or requirements. He wants hearts that are on fire with His love and grace on the Sabbath, on the Lord’s day, and on every other day (Hebrews 12:28–29; Psalm 51:15–17).

The Mosaic law, a.k.a. the Old Covenant, has been superseded by the New Covenant, justification by faith. The 10 commandments are in effect only for those holding to the Old Covenant. The law kills but the Spirit gives life. That FACT has been proven ad nauseum and stands firm.

Obeying the 10 Commandments is called abiding in Him and His Ways. If we abide in Him, He will abide in us.

Obeying the gospel is by believing in Him we move on to perfection by believing in Him that He will help us to follow Him and so the emphasis is not on us to obey the Ten Commandments as it was on the Jews to obtain salvation by.

If we don't abide in Him, we get this:
John 15:2 < ------ That is pruning fruitful disciples so they can bear more fruit
John 15:6 < ------ That is what you get for resorting to your own power whether it be for salvation or for following Him for without Him you can do nothing. Those who get cut off are still saved but disqualified from the race to attend the Marriage Supper with the Bridegroom in Heaven as a vessel unto honor in His House. Compare how He still calls them servants that get cut off to be with unbelievers on earth in Luke 12:40-49 & how the ten virgins are the kingdom of heaven but five were foolish and missed out on the wedding reception in that kingdom of heaven. Matthew 25:1-13

So carnal believers and former believers left behind are still saved as they will be vessels unto dishonor in His house, that will be left behind to die, when their spirits will be with the Lord in heaven to await for their resurrection after the great tribulation, vessels of wood & earth in His House.

That is why you have the least in the kingdom of heaven for why they are called least because they break the least of His commandments and teaches others so. Matthew 5:19 Which means that works has nothing to do with salvation or keeping all of His commandments, now does it? It is by believing in Him like a child would for how we enter in. Matthew 10:13-15 & Matthew 11:25-30

But who wants to be left behind to die when that fire comes on the third of the earth for how the new world order comes with the mark of the beast system to buy & sell to survive for the duration of the great tribulation? They will be weeping and gnashing their teeth like Esau wept for giving up his birthright for a meal just as the prodigal son gave up his inheritance for wild living & can never get it back, even though he is still son.

By man, yes. It is a textbook Tradition of Men. Isaiah has prophesied well of you hypocrites.

"Well hath (Isaiah) prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. ...in vain do they worship Me, teaching ... the commandments of men. ...laying aside the Commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, ... Full well ye reject the Commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition."
Mark 7:6-9
GotQuestions has given you the answer.
I actually like Got Questions for a lot of doctrine explanations and definitions, but they are wrong about many things. Unfortunately, they are wrong about the Lord's Day, as well as the Sabbath. As Isaiah and Genesis plainly confirm.

Do you trust Got Questions, an organization of man, ... or do you trust the Lord God Almighty's sacred Word?

God has only blessed and sanctified one day ever in all of history. His Word confirms and supports that undeniable FACT from Genesis to Revelation.
Genesis 2:2-3

John 15:10
Luke 23:55-56

My Bible says something entirely opposite.

2 Corinthians 3:5-6, "Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as if it were coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God, who made us adequate to be servants of a new covenant not based on the letter but on the Spirit, for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

So should I believe your theory or what the Bible clearly says?
