salvation is my faith not works. (Faith alone)
but faith is never alone
OSAS teaches justification by faith apart from works. But it also teaches faith is never alone
It is. Those who truly repented and are saved by grace through faith do obey. More importantly. They obeyed the gospel
Obeying the gospel
no one is saved because they obey commands. That’s being saved by law
OSAS does
Not teach mere belief nor does it teach belief will be alone.
it teaches we are saved by grace through faith nit if works and our new creation is in Christ for works
this just goes to show you do not understand OSAS doctrine
We are saved from the penalty of sin (justification]sanctification comes after
as Paul said he who began a good work will complete it. Don’t you believe him?
For by grace we have been saved. Eph 2
For we were born again not if corruptible sees but incorruptible 1 Peter 1
Not by works of righteousness which we have done but by his mercy he saved us Titus 3: 5
just a few verses that show were were saved
your trying to earn salvation my friend. Good luck with that
But faith is never alone. OSAS teaches justification by faith apart from works. But it also teaches faith is never alone.
But Scripture teaches of a faith being alone. OSAS teaches the opposite.
OSAS is salvation for the double minded good sinners. They confirm they will sin, they confirm they continue in sin, and they condemn anyone claiming to
go and sin no more as liars, because they know of no such thing among themselves.
They are converted to be doers of both good and evil, to be doers of the word and of the world: neighborliness with sins.
Scripture teaches there is nothing good about the sinner living in sins, because all their self-righteous moral works are as filthy rags to Him.
God is not looking for good sinners to inherit immortal bodies, but holy saints sinning no more by the faith of Jesus. God will gives immortal resurrection bodies to them who are clothed in white, not to them whose whited clothing is spotted with the sins of the world unto death.
no one is saved because they obey commands. That’s being saved by law.
No one is saved because they love God and obey His commandments, without which there is no love of God?? Those who do the word of Christ and keep His law in all points are not saved??
There is no being saved but with obeying the law of Christ, to overcome the law of sin in the mind, and in the body.
The works of the law that do not save, are the works of self-righteousness: the works of a law that is not of Christ. Good sinner works. Moral works. Humanism.
OSAS is salvation for sinful humans to practice humanism in place of the holy righteousness of God: to walk whited clothes spotted with sins of the world, to put on the new man over the old man, not in place of.
There is no 'was saved', only
being saved. Eternal salvation is only for them obeying Him and being saved unto the end.
The elect saints are being saved by grace to obey Him, which is the only way to obey Him, by grace.
The OSAS error of unconditional security is believing in
having been saved, was saved, saved already, so that the race is already won. How? By faith alone without obedience: Believing it alone isn't obeying it.
We are saved from the penalty of sin (justification]sanctification comes after.
And Scripture teaches being
saved from their sins. So long as we are yet in our sins, we are not being saved from our sins.
God's grace is for help in time of need to overcome sin. OSAS filthy grace is for help in time of need from the penalty of the sins they continue in.
OSAS mocks God by believing in His Son to rescue from penalty of sin, but not to deliver from sin.
OSAS is the modern doctrine of salvation in sins, bringing in many damnable lies that Scripture never said: There is no Scripture speaking of salvation from penalty of sin, but only salvation from their sins, whose penalty and wage is death.
This just goes to show you do not understand OSAS doctrine.
I know OSAS doctrine perfectly from your own words as opposed to Scripture, which show you don't know what you are believing and talking about.
OSAS doctrine is for saved sinners by filthy grace of dead faith, being alone in sins, and hidden from the blind god of this world, but not from Jesus Christ, the righteous judge of us all.
as Paul said he who began a good work will complete it. Don’t you believe him?
I believe the Scripture, you believe a twisted lie about Scripture.
We are saved once we believe Jesus with the heart, and we are being saved by obedience to Jesus from the heart. If we continue in sin, then our faith is dead, and we are not being saved. We have mocked God with profitless faith, seeking salvation from penalty of sin, but not from sin.
Our faith is justified by works of faith in righteousness of God, no longer being in sins of the world. No man is justified in his sins. That soul is dead by them.
Those who truly repented and are saved by grace through faith do obey.
And so yo agree, there is no sin of disobedience with the elect saints of Christ, who have repented of all the sins of the world, and not just a few, and no longer continue therein, to renew them continually unto a continual repentance of mind, but not repented with the body.
your trying to earn salvation my friend. Good luck with that.
Good luck with what?
Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe.
That? Mock on.
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
There are no godly lusts nor godly sins. All sin is transgression of the law: disobeying any point of the law, which is to be guilty of all and to pay penalty of all.
OSAS tries to have salvation through faith that continues to disobey God. There is no luck involved at all.
Frankly, I would rather risk falling from grace by obedience to the law of Christ in all points, than to certainly destroy my soul by openly and willfully disobeying Him in any point, while playing the hypocrite 'good sinner' by filthy grace.
