Federal senator for Tasmania Jacqui Lambie has been outspoken and most recently about the vaccine
I recently learnt that her electorate is where i live and work now so i might send a letter to her office...
A letter of appreciation for her support and to basically outline my personal situation...
I could hit her with a book full of facts, lies and deceptions but im just going to go with this argument...
Both my old physician and my new physician have advised against the vaccine, based on my health status, but they won't give me an exemption for fear of loosing their licenses and/or being prosecuted in a court of law. The government is blackmailing our physicians not to give their professional medical opinions and are overruling their advise... This is unethical, immoral, unlawful and criminal.. My doctors know whats best for me, not some unelected health bureaucrats...
Writing letters ain't such a bad idea... If everyone sent their leaders such letters they would be feeling more of the public heat and pressure

Writing to your reps are a good thing. It also has a positive personal psycho effect. I've send letters to the Upper (Senate) and Lower (Congress) Houses over here. And I get a reply usually within 2-3 weeks. Quite fast I might say.
Can't you apply for a personal religion exception for employment, without getting a med exemption from a doc?

This is my 6th week in this job and im still in my trial period so i haven't got a leg to stand on...
Also it looks likely that we won't be able into the grocery store either...
Ive been recently thinking that i should actually start listening more to our lawyers on this subject of forced vaccines...
There were some i would see on facebook but i stopped using it... I'll look into it...
But i still think i will eventually have to go caveman style for a while. Their saying Sydney won't reopen til 80% are vaxed now. Their talking going door to door. There was talk today of ankle bracelets for the unvaxed in Tassie and Victoria has just tightened its lockdown as well...
Im hoping i will be able to catch a plane or boat to Melbourne this Christmas for 2 weeks but its becoming more and more unlikely...
Im starting to think maybe i should go back to the mainland. At least i can always drive over a border to get into Victoria to visit...
Cos lets face it, im stuck in Taz once the vax passport comes... Hmmm big decision and not much time to make it
Well whatever you decide, personally I would not live in a built-up area. If I were single and more agile and mobile (not saying I'm not today...just a bit slower) I would prefer a place next/close to a regional/State/National park to go to if 'the heat 'gets turned up quickly.

Ye definitely... NSW south coast would be my destination. Plenty of small towns and plenty of bush. It was where i originally planned to go...

I know no one there... I can stay anywhere in my van before finding work... I did it here no probs.
I couldn't go now even if i wanted cos Melbourne is in lockdown plus i wouldn't mind working a few more weeks to get a bit more reserve coin.
We'll see... Its something that i need to think about over the coming weeks
Well this would be a project I would sink my teeth into and be planning it out, bit by bit whilst I wait for better conditions....

I only just learnt now that the whole of NSW is in lockdown now
ATM im thinking it will all calm down after winter and there will be my chance to do it then...
Work until late December then set sail to spend Christmas with family and friends before heading east...
Don't get me wrong... This north coast of Tassie is a hidden gem...
The only reason im reconsidering is because of this vaccine passport that will keep me locked here

Schools, offices, businesses, and all other “non-essential” venues will now all be shut down, with citizens only allowed outside to exercise, buy food and seek emergency medical treatment.
“Delta has been a game-changer, we’re responding to that,” said Ardern. “The best thing we can do to get out of this as quickly as we can is to go hard.”
Like its neighbor Australia, New Zealand continues to pursue a controversial ‘zero COVID’ policy that necessitates continuous draconian lockdowns with no end in sight.
As we highlighted last year, New Zealand announced that they will put all new coronavirus infectees and their close family members in “quarantine facilities.”
Ardern warned people who refused to take COVID-19 tests that they would simply be held in the facilities until they complied.

Apak over here in the U.K. mandatory vaccines come into law from the 12th November for care homes. We have been issued add ons to our contracts that have to be signed by the 11th November , by signing we agree to have vaccinations that the government and the NHS issue, this includes any boosters. I thankfully have medical grounds not the have the boosters as they are the Pfizer one. However at a recent meeting, and on the government website religious grounds will not be taken into account , nor will pregnancy be classed as a medical reason to refuse the vaccine. ( which I think is totally wrong )
I am in the process of weighing up my options, if I don’t sign,or don’t comply I will be fired. Personally even if I signed I would carry on making a free will choice with regards to any future vaccines, but by signing I will be giving my employee a reason to lawfully fire me as I will be in breach of my contract. I have a one to one meeting with my manager in sept as I am refusing to sign it at the moment. This will come into force within the NHS, care community throughout the country , so anyone working with vulnerable people will face the same dilemma in the coming six months. At the moment it’s just carehomes.

Thank you for sharing Rita. I sympathize with your plight and real work/no work dilemma. I believe you told me this was on your heart a month ago or so. And now its coming down to the wire. You are 'close' to retirement age I believe, and I guess there is no waiver for you until you can retire, or even propose working in another capacity under the NHS? A position that might not require the jab...
I will love to pray for you Rita. I really hope there is a way and solution concerning your work situation.

I have three years before I retire, unless of course I die before next summer !! ( well I am one of the vaccinated ! )
My heart sank at the recent meeting when they announced we had to sign something. I am not sure what I am going to do yet, I have been praying about it and ever since that I have been In situations at work where i have been reminded of why I went into care in the first place. If many of the carers and housekeeping teams leave, then it’s the residents that will feel the impact and the rest of the team that is left behind. I just feel for the pressures that are being placed on people that really don’t want the vaccination, for what ever reason. To fire someone on the grounds of refusing is just so wrong. I have only met one work colleague who agrees with it, but many have just signed despite their views. Even if I do eventually sign I am not going to not share the burdens I have about it to management and anyone who asks me why I am refusing to sign it straight away. It’s already sparked some interesting conversations off…….
Dad is already ‘ into the football season ‘ . My son went up to watch a match in London with his father in law , they had pie and mash and ‘ eel liqueur ‘ over the mash ( I like the pie and mash, but ‘eel ‘ yuk !!!!!!!!!
We usually have a family tournament where we get teams in the premier league, the person with the most goals wins, we usually have 1 team from the lower end and 1team from the higher…….we need to sort it out as the last one got stopped because of lockdown - perhaps I will get Leicester !
