The Revival Fire!
Last month, my local Aglow had a woman come as a guest speaker from the USA. One of the main things she talked about was some of the women there were at retirement age, and God was saying that it was not time to retire. He actually said that to me once when I asked him. He said, “You will retire when I bring you home.” Anyway, I was out back again thinking about what was said at that meeting, and the idea about revival dropped into my head. I thought to myself that I would love to see a revival here again. My hometown had a revival here over a hundred and twenty years ago, which was recorded back in the day.
While thinking on these things, the Lord said, Why don’t you pray for revival in this town again? I never really thought about it, so I decided to do that. I said that he had better lead this because I didn’t want to put my hand in it in any way. (Make it happen.) So I was given a strategy to pray every morning for revival. After that, the Lord was going to put in place a prayer person to pray with me. It only took 2 little old ladies to pray for the Welsh revival, and some of that flame was carried across to my local area via Welsh miners. The next step is going to be a prayer walk. Those are the only three steps the Lord gave me. The rest is up to him.
So every morning since the last meeting with the American woman, he has had me pray as I see revelation upon revelation appear during my prayer time. I began by asking the lord to unstop the wells that have been blocked up in this town so that the spiritual level may start rising again. Then I could see with my spiritual eyes, decades after decades of prayer warriors and intercessors praying for revival for this town, and I echoed their sentiments. I could discern their catchphrase of the time, which was “Where you’ve been before, you can come again.” Come, Father God, come, Lord Jesus, come, Holy Spirit, come again!
The next revelation I had been shown and embraced is the verse that says, “When the enemy comes in like a flood, God will raise up a standard against him.” And as the spiritual water level in this town begins to grow, it will begin to shake the churches out of their complacency. Then I saw a vision of people from 1905 walking down the main street and getting slain in the spirit, coming under heavy conviction, being saved, and being healed all at one time. This revelation created through that vision was a reflection of past information posted on newspaper reports during that time and also personal stories that had been written down. One of the major things that came out of it was the conversations around the Holy Spirit’s presence being tangible and in the air.
Since then, God has given me a prayer partner, and we begin our prayer journey from that point on, according to his pace and timing. So we are at step 2.
The third step in the Lord's plan was a prayer walk, which I will do with my prayer partner. We will be walking and speaking in tongues or praying through the main mainstreets and as we do so, it will, at some point, resonate with members of the churches so that they will also join the prayer walk at some stage. The Lord is leading this, which will also bring a rising in the hearts of the churches, bringing a desire to see revival once again and building unity with the churches as they seek God. God has only given me this part of the plan. The rest is in his hands.
What I have seen in visions, however, is the spark of fire coming from within Aglow, pouring out from the Salvation Army (where the meetings are now held), the fire of God flowing out from there and through the township. Please note: we were not in the Salvation Army at the time of this vision, but we have moved the meetings there as of yesterday, something that I was not aware was going to happen. This fire will go from town to town until the whole nation is consumed. Then it will become like a burning bush, an enigma to the rest of the nations, and they will desire to come and take some of that flame back to their own countries and set their countries on fire for God. I can also see in a vision the fire of God flow through the whole world so that the whole world is on fire. The whole world will come under the revival fire of God. Glory!
