My Personal Encounter And Revelation From Jesus
Many years ago, as a new congregant, I was attending a Baptist church. At the time, I had problems with understanding things that did not make much sense. I grew up seeing the unseen (spiritual realm) and clashed with many demonic entities but had no idea why I was seeing them or how to defeat them.
One time I suddenly began speaking in tongues at the age of 7, which seemed to make these spirits flee, but the whole thing was a mystery to me.
My parents were not believers, and my siblings were not as spiritually in tune as I appeared to be, so I really felt that I was out on my own. Growing up was difficult, but the Lord was with me to guide and protect me. As a young adult, when I became a member of this church, I walked into a service and recognized tongues
immediately, which was a revelation to me, but as a child, I did not know what this was...
This church did not deal with area's demonic forces of darkness, so I felt I needed to find answers elsewhere. What they did teach, however, was the word of God, so I learned how to memorize scripture, verse, and book.
After seven years there, I eventually moved to a Pentecostal church.
Prior to moving to another church, I had this experience. I was at home one day, and a demonic entity came into my house.
He emanated pure evil, and I was aware of his presence in a specific area of the lounge. Then the Lord Jesus turned up and said to me, "I want you to imagine that I am standing between you and him." I am in front of you. Do not fear. He cannot do anything to you because he cannot get past me. he can only try to scare you." This is when the situation of dealing with these demonic entities completely changed, and any fear I had went away. He then told me to use his word to rebuke and cast out the demonic power, and I did.
So I took up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and said, "I command you to flee demon, in Jesus mighty name for the word of God says, "He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world."John 4:4. and the word of God says: Not by might, nor by power but by my spirit says the lord Zechiah 4:6 and the word of God says: Submit to God, resist the devil and he will flees from you James 4:7 -"Father, I submit to you right now and I resist the devil" - demon, you must flee now, in Jesus mighty name."
That demon left immediately, and I have never had a problem dealing with them again. I can say that I had grown spiritually since attending a Pentecostal church because they taught on these areas as well as the gifts of the Holy Spirit, who we are in Christ, and our authority as believers.
